NOVEL SIMPLE Ch10: Back to study. (S)
Time for a new start.
Standing in the middle of a school gate is a pink-haired girl wearing its uniform. She is standing there with strong eyes staring at the school waiting for all its challenges that will come to her here. While this is happening a boy with light brown hair is standing next to her embarrassed as everyone is looking at them, mainly the girl for she is just standing there doing nothing for the past minute.
"Um.. Sarah? Should we not get doing already..?"
"Huh? Oh, I am s-sorry, I was just taking in the view of it a-all."
Hearing Zack's question, Sarah snaps out of it and starts to walk into the front entrance of the school. Seeing everything she remembers she starts to feel a bit happy to be back, never hated the school itself. While this was going on she heard another question from Zack.
"Sarah, since we are here now what do we do? I know we got to get classes but where is that?"
"We g-got to wait for that, once we get to the m-main hall we will be put in the classes that best suit u-us."
"Oh, easier than I thought... then I guess I will just wait a bit."
Seeing nothing more to add, Zack stayed silent for most of the walk. Sarah too chose to stay silent as she had her own thoughts. it has been so long and now that she is 15 and Zack 16 can she start her life again.
'I am back... everything is as I remembered. The wooden boards, the neat wall paper, and the fancy details here and there... but the ending won't be the same. I WILL BE HAPPY!'
While thinking this Sarah threw her fist up in the air, seeing this Zack steps away form her for a step.
'What? Why did he step away? Did I do something...? Nah I am ok there is nothing wrong... maybe.'
Choosing that there is no wrong, Sarah gets close to Zack and grabs his arm.
"Aw Zack, w-why did you step away? You got to keep close to me so that n-nothing goes wrong."
"Please Sarah, I stepped away cause I did not want to be seen next to a lunatic that is waving their arms."
"L-Lunatic? But I am perfectly n-normal, plus you can't leave your 'g-girlfriend' alone."
"Yea... right..."
Still with that theme(On Sarah's side). She does her best here and there to give people the image of a good partner, but she fails at it for being too dumb in this area.
'Am I doing something wrong? Why is he not trying to be happy too? I am pretty sure I grew up a bit prettier than old Sarah... ah could it be the bust size? Sarah was quite big at this age...'
As she was thinking this Sarah looked at the clean windows to see her reflection to get a better view of herself.
'Yeah more pretty. A cute face, big blueish eyes, nice and clean long pink hair, a bit short but no wrongs. Only problem is the chest, its a modest chest but... old Sarah was bigger... why? AH WHO CARES!'
Starting to get annoyed, she started to shake her head side to side. Leading to her feeling that Zack wanted out. Sarah stopped her shaking and side-eyed Zack.
'And look at this guy, trying to get away when all I am doing is my best for OUR HAPPINESS. He's got a handsome face and nice green eyes... wait I should not mind that! He should learn to be grateful that I choose to go out with him!'
Sarah who was doing all of this, did not know that she was putting more strength into her arms thus somewhat crushing Zack's arm. With her also giving him a more and more creepy feeling with her eyes staring hard into him. While this was going on they got closer to a big door that had many others lining up and giving names to the people in front.
"Uh Sarah, I think we are getting to the place we need to be... can you let go?"
"Look at this guy trying t-to leave... are you trying to r-run from me...?"
"N-NO I AM NOT SARAH... Just there are other people..."
"Hmm, n-no."
"Ooh..."
While walking like that, to got to the front where a person stopped them.
"Hello, sorry common check. Names and IDs please."
"Y-yes, I am Sarah, Number i-is 463460"
"... I am Zack, Number is 4278... I forgot..."
"His n-number is 427851"
"Thank you Sarah..."
Seeing as they answered, the man started to look into the list and just to pass the time asked useless questions.
"Haha, most forget the number. As long as you recall the first four you are fine. That aside with how you two are, are you dating?"
"Y-yes, we known each other for most of o-our lives! We can not be happy with anyone else."
"Oh is that so? That is great to hear that the new bloods are leading happy lives. When will I find someone..."
Seeing the man like this, Sarah started to feel bad cause this dating at least in her eyes started from chaos. Seeing their names in the list, the man looked at them.
"Ok, you guys are here. Lucky for both of you that your sits are next to each other, just be careful for other students cause people in the first day can be rowdy."
"T-Thank you, and we w-will."
"Thanks, hope you find someone."
"Haha, No problem. And thanks kid, maybe one day. You two have fun at this school!"
Walking past the man and into the doorway, they see a big room with lots of chairs and a stage in the middle. There were many kids and adults here doing their own thing, making friends, talking to random people to find gossip, and playing around making a mess. If anything it was peaceful with no one fighting, main reason being that these people are all from the lower-circle with the inner-circle being in the second floor having a higher view. But not much is different there as you see the same play there. Finding their sits Sarah and Zack sat down and spent their time talking.
"H-Hey Zack, how are y-you feeling about all of this?"
"Hmm, I guess its all new so I am sort of looking forward to it... but not the study."
"Why n-not the study?"
"Uh well... how do I explain this... Don't you work most of your years here doing nothing but eyeing books?"
"Y-Yea?"
"Yeah, I don't want to do that agai- I mean I don't want to study all my life."
" I guess s-so..."
Before Sarah could understand the first part, she started to see people walk to the stage in a hurry with papers and notes. One of them puts down a chair and sits down while the others hold papers.
"AHEM! Can you all please please pay mind to us for a bit of your time! This is a needed talk before you will be put in your classes!"
With that said, most people started to look at the group on the stage. With others in the crowd asleep.
"Ok! For one we plan to have partner group who you will be with for most of your years here! As the name states only one person can be your partner!"
Hearing this, Sarah is confused.
'Huh, this was not a thing when I was here in the past life...'
While sitting there confused, the man kept going.
"For now you can start with picking your partner! Only people that do not choose will be forced with someone! Also don't come to me that you could not get a partner cause there are 300 students here!"
Seeing this go down Sarah cleared her mind and choose the best option. Looking to Zack on the left she was about to ask when he open his mouth.
"Partner?"
"Y-yes.. that was what I was gonna a-ask.."
"Hahaha, ok then we are partners."
"... Y-Yes..."
Sarah hearing this for some reason was happy, so she choose not too look at Zack and look around. Seeing the chaos this made she wonder why it was done... till she saw the 2nd floor and saw a familiar face...
'Wait a minute... I forgot I would see him...'
In front of her eyes she see's a blond hair boy with blue eyes looking at his group. Talking to them and throwing jokes here and there.
'Jacob Celvter...'
Someone Sarah hated in 'his' past life.
