IMPLANT (A marvel Fanfic)

Chapter 11

Restaurant work was quite boring, especially if you were just a waiter that took orders and passed out food, it really was nothing special, so, when the time for his shift to end has come, Jack immediately left for the streets, excited to test out his new powers,

Once he was out of the restaurant, Jack took a deep breath, hot mist came out of his mouth when he released it, and that was when he realized that it was almost December, guess he had more time to spare when it comes to practicing his powers. Neat, "So, what you plan on doing? I was thinking of doing something like," Jack paused, "I don't know, stopping a mugging maybe?" it was quite common for that sort of thing to happen in new york, how many times has he seen the news spill out words about how someone was found dead because of a mugging? He swears he at least sees one of those a month, and that was just the tip of the iceberg, if he really felt like it he could go to Hell's kitchen and just find stuff there, apparently, the place is quite notorious, and though there are other places that are like this as well, for example Florida, he would have to go ahead and spend several hours worth of travel just to get there, and that was before he even got the chance to stop crime, he was thinking about maybe just for fun he should but the cost would have been too much, and well, spending time and money really isn't his thing,

With that in mind, Jack proceeded to enter a dark alley and said, "Alright Implant, show me what you got." and right as those words came out of his mouth greenish good started to seep out of his skin, slowly enveloping him, and sure enough, he was soon covered in his second skin, I can make it even thicker if you want, but I would have to be the one in control. were Implant's words, he has thought about it for a little bit and decided that no, "Not for now Bud, I wanna see what I can do with my super strength first," this was his little moment to shine, and to hell if this new friend of his decided to take it,

Jack looked around, with this suit of his, the dark alley was visible enough that to him, there was no difference between night and day, night vision, he thought, and that was great! it would be even better if he could somehow climb in walls, "So uh, Implant, is there a way for me to leave this alley without being seen, or you know, leaving this place without using the road that we went in to the first place?"

The symbiote replied- yes, yes you can, trying putting your hand in the walls, it added and Jack obliged, "There," he stated, and just then, claws formed on the tip of his fingers, they dug through the concrete wall as if it were butter, Now move, He heard a voice inside his head say, and once again, Jack followed.

It took a while before he finally got the hang of crawling through walls, and it took Implant to implement claws on his feet before he finally had a decent pace doing so, the symbiote was quite thoughtful and useful, now if only he wouldn't have to cause property damage every time he climbed, that would be decent.
Jack looked back at all the marks he left on the wall, he saw a dozen small dots now lining the entirety of it, clearly, he can do damage, and he did, right before he even started to "Patrol" New York city, and that was bad, and good. with reasons, for one, he now knows that a guy who wields a gun probably doesn't even stand a chance against him and two, he also knows that should he attempt to do this again, he would probably have to do more damage to multiple properties,

When Jack reached the roof top, be breathed, it felt good, feeling the air hitting your face and the thought of being able to climb a wall through sheer strength alone had made him feel good, it was neat, seeing it like this, feeling like this, knowing that you are strong is good, doing an activity that proved you are strong is even better.
Jack released his breath, hot air poured out of his suit, from head to toe, he then took another deep breath, "Hey uh, Implant, can you maybe not cause property damage whenever we do this sort of thing? Can't you like, I don't know, become sticky?" He asked, and Implant gave him affirmation, telling him that yes, yes he could, "Good, I want that instead of claws next time,"

Of course, the symbiote replied, Can you buy me chocolate then? the alien asked, it's voice lower than before,

"Of course I can." Jack answered. that was apparently the only thing the symbiote requested, to survive, which was pretty weird given that he kinda gets superpowers from it, and of course, it was also quite suspicious, what the hell does the thing want when it literally only needs chocolate? Does it have a need to entertain itself? what about a need to enjoy it's time? Like, is it fine if it just stuck itself to his body more often than not? Of course, the symbiote can't really leave him but still, the thing doesn't make any demands and just sits there, helping him, that was suspicious, for example, the thing is an alien and perhaps it also wants something from them, or maybe it is just waiting for it's friends? maybe more will come. No one knows what the hell is about to happen to earth, with the CEO of stark industries getting kidnapped and some massive green guy suddenly appearing out of thin air, it was hard to pinpoint on where exactly is everything going to, and that was shitty because even if he has superpowers, there are still people that are probably more than armor and super strength, and that was something that he should be careful about, especially when he doesn't even know how his own powers functioned,

"Alright Implant, I am gonna jump off this building and see how far I can go," He doesn't know what kind of limits he has for now, so knowing what those are is probably a good start, "Here goes," Jack's voice was soft, fearful, still adrenaline pumped through his veins and he felt the suit around him tighten, he gave himself a few good excitable jumps and took deep breaths, and then he ran back to the building's edge, the place where he had crawled up from,

and with a final breath, he ran-

his legs felt like crap and his lungs burned, these were signs that he was clearly not used to the strain of working out, but that didn't matter, knew that he doesn't exert his physical body but it doesn't matter, he would probably recover from it given due time, for now, he would feed on the excitement that stemmed from his chest, happy that no matter how hard he tried, he probably wouldn't get tired from this little exercise,

He soon reached the other ledge of the building, he tensed his legs, felt the moment, and leapt-
