Infinity in the Void – Freedom in the Abyss

Phantasmal Denial

"Manifest Destiny."

The thing with Ambition is that I am fast, like, really fast.

I smashed her in the face with the coffin, then switched to the spears to flank her from behind. All in the span of half a second.

"That ability is annoying...", she mumbled as she tried to escape from me.

I kicked her in the back, then punched from the side, next was a knee strike to her stomach. I am faster, but her durability was better.

"Polymorph 70%"

She forgo her sword and gun, knowing they are useless against me. All tools of man are under my jurisdiction, after all.

She became faster, her feet and hands sprouted prismarine claws and spikes, reminding me of Curruid. Well, they are both Leviathan so that makes sense.

I threw the coffin at her, which she blocked with her hand, resulting in a boom. However, I appeared before the coffin, kicking it— knocking Selen down with the sudden force.

But she performed a backflip, landing on her feet before rushing at me. I gave Ouroboros Omniscia a mental command, detaching the handle, and shot the chain up.

I swung it like a flail, she ducked and rolled to strike at me with a kick. But I block it in time with my trench coat, all the while yanking the coffin back.

She is extremely flexible... and slimy too, urgh. I got some sort of sticky slime on my coat from her.

She turned around to kick the coffin up, then she tried to elbow and hit me with her elbow spike. I let go of the handle.

Once again the spark of Ambition teleported me away, narrowly avoiding the attack.

I crouched down, touching the ground. Then I sent a spark down.

"Decontruct.", the ground around me broke apart, crackling with electricity.

"Transmute.", all the dirt turned into chalk.

That stopped Selen in her tracks, observing with a frown.

"Hear me, World.", I smile.

The sky split apart, and Tiamat's gaze bore down upon me. Though looks like the others cannot see it.

"I wish for the creation of Life, for Blood to flow and bear fruit.", the World resonates with me, turning the chalk into beads of blood, pure untainted blood, belonging to no one, belonging to nothing.

Despite it clearly hates me, as long as I entertain the World... it will always be on my side. Because I am the only one that can deal with Theia.

I raised my hand up, gathering the Pure Blood and condensing it into a crimson gem... a Philosopher's Stone, but it is an unstable one. Nothing like the perfection the Nazis made.

So... what I have in my hand is an alchemical nuke.

"Inperfectus Opus.", I cracked the gem and channeled all the force released in Selen's general direction.

"Shit...", and she was hit with a torrent of blood crackling with red lightning.

"Transmute.", the blood turned into fire, and it began to burn her.

Hahahahaha!! I feel my arm about to break from holding onto Inperfectus Opus!! But this is my retribution!! I won't be satisfied with anything less than a one-sided victory!!

For ten seconds straight, I held the power of life in my hand, twisted and broken. And when the gem faded, all I could see was Selen covered in blood, not sure if it was her own or the Pure Blood.

"You really show the craziest stuff for the most unnecessary reason...", she coughed, her heterochromatic eyes swapped places with each other, "Francis might yell at me for this but... I am fired up."

"Polymorph... 50%."

Her body changed, becoming more draconic with scales almost covering her entire body. She bore her fangs, two rows of sharp teeth ready to tear everything apart.

I picked up Ouroboros Omniscia, then I touch my chestplate, "Reforge."

Incognito Zero returned to its tower shield form. A hunter must hunt, that is the law.

Selen slapped her tail, then she opened her mouth - charging up the fabled Dragon's Breath. A white orb made of pure white energy.

I planted the shield down in front of me, while the coffin opened up once again, readying to shoot out a barrage of missiles.

"Stop it, you two!!"

In an instant, hundreds of ghostly warriors surrounded us. Calling them ghouls would be wrong, as they are stronger than that - Revenants, spirits of vengeance... so this is the Wild Hunt.

I can end all of their existence right now if I wanted to.

"What is it, Francis. We are getting to the good part.", Selen rolled her eyes.

The lady in question stepped out from the sea of ghosts with her arms crossed.

"And have you two blow up the entire academy?!", she glared at the Leviathan.

"I can fix it with Alchemy.", I said my piece.

"She said she can fix it.", Selen pointed at me.

"That is not the point, can you two account for all the equipment and books that would burn down?!", Francis yelled.

"I can replace it, money isn't a concern for me.", I have Utopia after all, he had infiltrated humanity's internet, so by proxy, all information belong to me.

"At this point, I'll just believe you... but don't bother. That is the final say.", she didn't budge at all.

"By the way... how many ghosts does your Sluagh have left in your briefcase?", I asked.

"Hm? A couple million, close to a billion actually...", then she realized she fucked up, "What are you..."

"I want to show what I can do.", I closed my eyes, letting the sparks go wild.

My eyes shine a brilliant silver light and with a snap of my finger... in an instant, the Revenants vanished, released from the binding of the Sluagh.

"This is my Domination.", I smile. I do not possess Romulus' connection to civilization, I am not invincible as long as humanity stands...

All I can do is Deny all that is fantastical, to render legends and myths as falsehoods. As long as it does not fit my vision of humanity. The Undead is one such falsehood, they are not reanimated life, but remnants of life.

Though there is a limit, such as those blessed by Eldritch Gods and the Guardians of the World. I cannot do much against Heralds and Dragons, but I can at least make them obey the Laws of Physics as long as I am here.

"Holy shit...", Francis stare in amazement, "You actually killed the Imprints."

"Yes I did~", I shrugged, exiting Ambition, "By the way, can I teach Alchemy?"

"No.", that came from Selen, "As cool as Alchemy is, I don't want students to accidentally create unstable Philosopher's Stones."

"Fine...", I roll my eyes.

Francis looked around the destroyed courtyard and sighed, "This has to be fixed..."

And... I slip away, I don't want to deal with the consequences of my actions. I went to the professors, letting those two have their own space.

There are a few dozen professors here, dealing with over a thousand students fueled by freedom juice and power beyond comprehension. So they must be tough stuff.

"That was amazing!", that girl Evelyn ran toward me, "Can you teach me Alchemy!?"

"Sure, but I must warn you it is a very dangerous subject that deals a lot with theoretical physics and a lot of mental training, it is pretty taxing."

"So do you feel tired?", a man in jeans and a red shirt spoke up, "I'm Saul Salieri by the way."

"Yeah, it is the nature of exchange. The essence of Alchemy is the Mind and Soul, it is the way to operate.", I took a handful of dirt, transmuting it into a thin sheet of silver, "It is taxing, but I am built different."

Then I chatted with the other professors, just some normal pleasantries. This is just one stop on my journey... I'll only be spending a year here...

So I'll do all I can...

To poison the minds of the next generation.

For them to inherit the next chapter of humanity, many will die... but I am willing to make those sacrifice.

No price is too high for the future, after all.

=0=0=

"That girl really pissed me off...", Theia laughed as she clawed her brain out.

"Hahahaha~", she took out a chunk, crushing it, "Roko, my False Dragon... that girl is smart and ruthless... she leaves nothing out of the equation... but she is not omnipotent."

Roko did not say anything, they just watched as the Other Ego mutilated herself. Black blood bleeding from her head.

"Hahahaha~ what did human call it again?", her crimson eyes glare at the Fragment of the Universe, "Identity Crisis? Yes. Both me and that lizard suffer from it."

She stroked her hair up, "When we crashed into each other, we exchanged pieces, fragments of each other... it is me, and I am that lizard. We can never be coherent, as our very essence mixed together yet never combine, this is our error... our flaw that makes us so special, and her downfall..."

"Alios1Ego of Mercury, Neferima2Ego of Venus, Ingelium3Ego of Mars. They are different from us... two became one, yet never merged..."

Her eyes dashed to the golden chain tattoos along her arms. "So... there is only one way of breaking this Contract..."

A smile formed on her face, "You can hear me, can't you~? There is a way for me to fulfill my goal and for you to entertain yourself..."

She stares into the sky.

"We must become one, like the strings of The Slumbering Ruler dictated long ago. So when the time is right, swallow me O' All Consuming Dragon of Conflict, let me be one with you... we shall truly become Terra4Unified World of Conflict and Destruction..."
