Loss A Love And Gain Three

BELLA

CHAPTER 1

BELLA

“No! This can’t be happening, Edward! Come back. I… I… I love you too much.”

It was raining heavily, thunder roared, lightning, flashed, every few seconds, it was dreary and dark.  Quiet footsteps walked in the downpour, in the unfamiliar forest. Alone, Bella walked while she cried for her love. EDWARD!  Come back. He dumped her, he was using her from the very beginning, she was just a toy, a toy to help pass his time as an immortal. The rest of the Cullens did what he said as if he was their leader, not even a goodbye. It’s like she doesn’t even deserve that much.

Edward told her that she was his mate, and they would be together forever, she believed him, and she loved him, but she regretted it. Bella guessed, his forever was short, she cried as her heart ached, and beat wildly.

Alice was her best friend, she didn’t even say goodbye, never once thought of her feelings in all this. She went along with Edward, maybe their friendship didn’t mean anything after all, It was cruel, what they did to her, didn’t they know that leaving her would tear her apart, didn’t they see that she sees the Cullen as a family. Esme, her mother, Emmett, and Jasper her brothers. Rosalie, well Rosalie was the only honest one, showing her true feelings towards her.

Bella stopped and looked up to the sky and screamed. EDWARD. YOU. BASTARD! She slowly lowered her head and whispered. “I can’t believe you did this to me.” They brought her into their world, she has to fight for her life, from a crazy vampire, a tracker. Although they saved her in the end, it confused her now, why save her if she’s just a toy, why go through all the trouble, and leave her in the end? They told her that she’s a part of their family, and that makes it so much worse.

Lost and sadden Bella’s tears fell along with the rain as she began to walk again. Her shoulders slumped as her heart aches from the pain she felt, her mate left her a few hours ago with his family. Now lost in the very forest where he left her, she tried to find a familiar path in the heavy rain.

Bella stumbled and fell into a puddle of water on the ground, she lay there, not bothering to get up, it didn’t matter anymore, the people who claimed that they loved her were gone. Her mate is gone, and her best friend and her family are gone. Bella curled up on the wet forest floor, wishing that death could claim her, she closed her eyes and decided to just give up, if her soulmate didn’t want her, then what hope did she have for someone else to love her? It’s best to give up now to save herself from future pain.

Renee, her mother, if you can call her that. Bella was just a living-in maid, who took care of her mother. Renee got rid of her after she got married, but Bella didn’t mind, her nightmare with Renee was over. Charlie might miss her, she wasn’t sure, he hardly interacted with her, and moving on wouldn’t be hard for him, they weren’t close in the first place. She knew he took her out of duty, not love, love, she’s beginning to hate that word. Love is a meaningless word that relates to her. Charlie told Billy that he couldn’t wait to get rid of her after she turned eighteen, she heard him say It, and it hurt like hell.

Charlie doesn’t have to wait anymore, her eighteenth birthday has come and gone, and he didn’t even acknowledge on that day. He’s probably counting the days until she graduates high school. If her parents and soulmate don’t love her, then why bother with anything?

The rain fell heavily on her prone form as darkness grew thicker, a creature was hunting her, waiting for the right moment to catch its prey.

"An eight-foot bipedal were-creature stood behind the trees for cover. Its eyes were red with black slits as it watched the injured human intently. The creature's black fur stood in anticipation, ready to pounce. Its clawed hands were curled, and its razor-sharp teeth dripped with saliva, savoring the delicious-smelling human. The scent was alluring, so sweet. Unable to wait any longer, the creature lunged at the human, biting into her side. Juicy flesh oozed sweet blood as Bella screamed in pain.

Three figures appeared quickly. Tanya grabbed the creature by its neck, forcing it to release Bella. In her rage, Tanya ripped the creature apart, starting with its head. Caught off guard, the creature had no chance to defend itself and died swiftly. Kate and Irina crouched protectively in front of Bella while Tanya fought. The danger had passed. Irina and Kate turned around slowly, checking their mate for any damage. Bella was bleeding badly from her right side. The women gathered around her, trying to calm her as she cried. Irina took off her jacket and pressed it against Bella's side, attempting to stop the bleeding.

"We need to take her to the hospital," Irina said.

"No," Tanya replied in a strained voice. "She'll die before they can help her. We need to go home and handle this ourselves."

"Okay, but what is that?" Kate asked, pointing at the dismembered creature.

"We'll figure it out later," Tanya said, gathering Bella in her arms. Each of her sisters touched Bella's shoulders before they teleported home."
