Making It in Night City

Not a Chapter

First, I want to go over some of the things we accomplished.

At the time of writing, we are 20 chapters in, and the novel now has over 16k views, has been added to over 200 reading lists, 20 ratings, one review, and has been on the trending list multiple times (topping at number 20), and just under 40k words and 500 favorites. I say we because I could never have done this without you guys. You guys are fantastic, and the overwhelmingly positive feedback and popularity so far have been better than anything I could have expected. Thank you for coming along on this ride, and hope you guys enjoy the rest of it with me.

Second, I want to go over some good and bad changes that will soon happen.

The bad is that I will be returning to school soon, so my schedule will tighten up, and I probably won't be able to pump out chapters at the rate I have been up until now. I will try to hit three chapters a week but don't be surprised if I only manage two. The good thing is that my chapters will be worked on over multiple days, hopefully translating to higher quality in general. Having a smaller target to hit also allows me to create a backlog if I write more than expected. I am beginning to realize that there is a distinct possibility that I will suffer from writer's block sooner or later. If I have a backlog, you guys will still have something to read while I try to kick-start my creativity.

Again, I would like to thank all of you for the great experience. I'll see y'all later.
