Milf Harem In Another World

Chapter -011.

Chapter -11.

"Was it so important to you to accept this duel that you disregarded the numerous wounds on your body? More significantly, did you not tell me that you would remain at your house today?" Callum asks strongly as Lucian approaches him.

He usually arrives at the practice field early each day to practise his swordsmanship, but today he had arrived late, assuming Lucian is relaxing at home; but for some reason, his first reaction upon seeing the crowd at the place where Lucian usually trains is that Lucian has definitely broken his word by coming to train, and it appears that this is the case because he was now smiling so blatantly in front of him after he had caught him lying.

"Sorry man, but I would just be bored at home, and anyway I only did this duel to test my level, which is sadly quite low." Lucien says, smiling at callum; though he came here because of Effie, since she said yesterday that she would tell him where to come for training; and of course she wasn't going to come back to his house just to tell him that.

Callum lets go of his anger after hearing his friend and says, "There's no need to be discouraged, because I'm sure you'll be able to raise your swordsmanship level one day. On that note, let's go have a drink, what do you say?" Although he would usually ignore drinking, but since his friend was in a bad mood, he could at least do this much.

"Can I join you two?" Lucien and Callum suddenly hear a voice from behind them and turn around to find that the guy who had dueled with Lucien was now standing behind them.

"What did you say?" Callum asks angrily, turning around, to which Dorian immediately puts up both his hands and says, "Whoa, whoa, stop, I'm not here to fight; and just so you know, I was forced into this duel as well."

"Leave him be," Lucien says, pulling Callum back so he doesn't jump on Dorian to beat him up; which seemed very likely anyway; and then he looks at Dorian and asks, "And you, why do you want to come with us? You beat me in duel, right? You should have gone back with your group instead of coming here and talking nonsense like this in front of us."

"Sigh, I thought so too; and you too were there and might've heard as well when he promised me that if I beat you in the duel, he would talk to the battalion commander and get me a chance to join the hunt." Dorian tells his story, but Callum interrupts him and laughs, and says, "I didn't think you would be such an idiot."

"Thanks for the compliment." Dorian retorts grumpily, and on the other hand he is also getting a little angry at himself when he thinks about it calmly; Abraham is only a level 2 swordsman, so how could he have any chance of talking to the battalion commander directly, and convincing him to include him in the official hunt of the Crowfield family.

"So you're saying you were lured into a duel with me by that offer?" Lucien asks, because he would have done the same thing if he were in that man's place.

"Yeah, but it's not like I hate you or resent you; and anyway, if I hadn't accept Abraham's offer, I would've been probably his next target." Dorian explains his point honestly, and he doesn't have his own group to go back to anymore since Abraham had clearly refused to let him follow him, which also indicates that his dream of joining the Hunt is going to remain just that.

"Well, not much of good character, but you're at least honest with yourself," Callum says after hearing Dorian's explanation, because he thought that now after being ostracized from his group, he would lie his way through, while trying to join them but he didn't do that.

Lucien, who now felt as if he was just a bystander, shook his head as the two guys in front of him debated whether or not to go together, but he hadn't even agreed to it yet, so it didn't make sense; and anyway, his main goal for today was to find out the training location with Effie, after that he was even ready to take Dorian with him for a drink and get drunk.

There was no use to be angry at a guy who was a little optimistic about his future, and wanted to use others lack of skills as a stepping stone.

But seeing that they were still arguing, Lucien moved forward to interrupt them, but suddenly the sound of a conch shell became louder, which made Callum and Dorian, who were busy arguing, stop.

Lucian, who had now regained most of his predecessor's memories, knew what kind of sound it was, and turning to Callum, asked, "Did you know anything about this?"

Callum shook his head at Lucian, and said, "Looks like this hunt is going to be a little more difficult."

"What? What are you two talking about? Can one of you tell me what that conch shell sound means?" Dorian, who had stopped in the training ground having heard such a sound for the first time, asks confused as he hears Lucian and Callum talking.

"Tch.. Talk about being useless." Callum says in a teasing tone and then turns and starts walking with Lucian in the direction the sound of the conch came from; Lucian, who was walking ahead, turns his head back and looks at Dorian and says, "You'll know about it even if you follow us."

"Is it necessary to treat him like this when he agreed to duel you just for an opportunity?" Callum asks as he walks forward with Lucian.

"wouldn't you jump at an opportunity like that too, and anyway I feel like if anyone else was dueling with me other than this guy I probably wouldn't be able to talk to you like this; So I don't think I should get annoyed or angry at him." Lucien said as he picked up the pace of his steps, the only thought on his mind at the moment was whether or not Effie had anything to do with the sound of the conch shell.
