"Hahaha... all the matches are so amazing. Everyone did their best and showed us what they were made of. Before anything, I just want to say this... You guys are really great magic knights and I expect you guys to keep up the good work." Julius addressed all the people present on the spot, saying with a bright smile.

"Yes, Sir!!" All the magic knights saluted, feeling overwhelmed by the praises from the Wizard King himself.

Julius nodded his head and continued. "Now then let's move on to the final match of the exams. On one side we have Team B which showed some great feats and overpowered their enemies with the No. 1 Rookie of this year taking charge. Team B displayed great teamwork and defeated their opponents to secure their spot in the finals. While on the other hand, we have Team P who defeated even the Team with a magic captain leading it. Yuno who is also Asta's sibling showed great progress, even using the Spirit magic to such a high degree. Nonetheless, the finals are going to be the greatest fights ever with two of them butting their heads against each other. With that being said, let's begin the finals!"

Julius gave a very long speech. While the other magic knights listened to him like a fanatic, Alex's patience was running out, with his facial muscles twitching.

Just when he heard, Julius's signal, he said. "Alright guys, as we discussed before, I'll take care of Yuno while you guys will protect the crystal."

"Okay, Asta~, Leave it to us," Mimosa replied with a smile.

Zora asked with a confused expression. "Why bother with all this when we can finish this swiftly?"

"Hahaha... as an older brother, I want to see how much he has improved." Alex left these words as he charged forward, leaving the two of them behind.

On the other side, Yuno also had the same as he merged with Slyph and entered the Spirit Dive form, charging at Alex. He raised his hand and condensed external mana into a large, two-handed sword. The wind surrounded the sword-like blades as a smile appeared at the corner of Yuno's face.

'Watch how much I have grown, Asta! Today, right here, I am going to surpass you!'

Alex felt his fighting intent from his eyes and grinned as he also channeled the Anti-magic through his body, entering the devil form with a wing sprouting out from his back.

With one side shining green and giving a holy feeling, the other side was completely opposite to it, wrapped in a dark and eerie aura, giving goosebumps to anyone who gazed at him.

It was like a battle between God and the Devil!

The two of them hadn't clashed yet the arena showed signs of cracking up and that happened...

Alex and Yuno arrived at the center and moved their swords, slashing at each other.

*BOOM!!*

*Crack!!*

Due to the bone-shattering force generated by their swords colliding, the two magic knights unleashed a devastating shockwave so powerful that it threatened to rip the flesh off the combatants that were too close to its epicenter.

Their swords touched for a second before deflected back and the force generated by it shattered all the rocks in the vicinity as they turned to powder.

"Oh my god!!!"

Everyone gasped as they watched the ground beneath Alex and Yuno's feet collapse due to it not being able to withstand the pressure.

'What force!!'

Alex's facial muscles twitched upwards into a grin as he saw Yuno move his sword again, slashing horizontally.

Alex raised his sword and blocked it, deflecting it back.

*Bang!*

The clash of their swords again caused the rocks to Crack, shattering them.

"You've grown Yuno. But it's still not enough if you want to defeat me." Alex smiled at his sibling.

"Then taste this!" Yuno smiled.

Instantly Alex's eyes narrowed as his grimoire opened and the Demon-dweller, slashed at his feet to destroy the tornado spell.

But it gave him a chance to Yuno as he raised his hand and released the Spirit Storm at point-blank range.

*Boom!*

A blinding light flashed in front of Alex's face before a powerful force enveloped his body.
It traveled in a straight line before it disappeared.

"What happened?"

"Did he hit him...?"

"I think so..."

"I mean... I can't dodge that attack with so up close."

"Me too!"

While the magic knights were discussing among themselves how strong the attack was, Julius and Mereoleona were staring into the distance with small smiles on their faces.

Yuno stared ahead for a few seconds before he turned around and stared at a figure, standing in the air with a satisfied smile.

"Not bad, kiddo. You've grown truly strong." Alex grinned before he channeled his Anti-magic into the Demon-dweller sword, releasing dozens of slashes at Yuno.

'Spirit Magic: Spirit's Hushed Dance!'

Yuno's body moved in the air like he was dancing a stream of wind as he evaded all of Alex's Anti-magic slashes.

"I know you can do much more than this, Asta! Come on, show me your everything!" Yuno shouted excitedly.

Alex chuckled, "That's all up to you, Yuno. You have to force it out of me."

Both of them stared at each other before they turned into streaks of lights, chasing and clashing with each other.

They resembled two large serpents, one green and one black, clashing into the sky.

At one moment, they were on the right side of the arena while the next, they had arrived on the left.

The sky was filled with beautiful sparks generated from the clash of their attacks, lightning up like fireworks.

If it was nighttime, it would have been one hell of a sight.

"W-What...?"

"H-How can it be..."

"Are these two really commoners?"

"Why does it feel like their battle is even more amazing than the battle between the nobles?"

"You take the words out of my mouth!..."

"Damn, just the clash of their swords changed the structure of the landscape. Just how the hell... do these two trains?"

"I can't imagine how strong they will be in a few years..."

"And that black-haired handsome boy even wanted to be the Wizard King... I made fun of him before... But now I think he can do it!..."

"Damn!... what a crazy battle."

"Worthy of being the finale of the Royal Knights Exam!"
