While Alex and Yuno were clashing against each other at one side, on the other side, their team members were fighting against each other, trying to destroy each other's magic crystal.

Noelle had wrapped their magic crystal inside the Sea Dragon's nest while clashing with her cousin Mimosa.

Mimosa used her plant magic to protect the magic crystal and also to weaken the Sea Dragon's nest.

Her plant magic could also such the water to grow larger and was a great counter for Noelle's water magic.

Mimosa's only weakness was her lack of defensive spells since she didn't have anything to guard against Noelle's Sea Dragon's roar. But it was covered by Zora who had actually planted a trap onto the magic crystal with his Ash magic.

Noelle had launched a Sea Dragon's Roar at Team B's crystal but her magic got deflected back at her and she was barely able to protect her team's magic crystal.

And that's why she was still not sure of using another powerful spell at Team B's magic crystal, scared of it getting deflected back at her.

Zora was up against En who wanted to take care of the former with his mushroom magic like he did in their all matches but Zora's tricky spell easily repelled all his mushrooms back at him.

After Zora defeated En, he returned back to Mimosa's side, guarding the crystal while giving her a chance to fight Noelle without having to worry about the magic crystal...

"Oye, Yuno, this is not going anywhere. Let's settle it with our next attacks. What do you say?" Alex shouted at Yuno.

Yuno smiled and replied. "You take the words out of my mouth."

He gripped his sword tightly and more magic power condensed into the sword. The wings near the sword's crossguard grow larger and fan out more, and the halo becomes more radiant

The spell hadn't reached the Saint stage yet but it would reach soon.

Alex was very impressed by Yuno's progress and replied in kind. He gripped the hilt of his katana and his aura burst forth. The katana was wrapped in a pitch-black color with a cloak of red color extending from it.

Alex's eyes lit up with a vicious scarlet glint as he raised his sword in the air.

Yuno followed suit and raised the massive sword in his hand too.

Both of them stared at each other and brought down their swords at the same time.

*Whoosh-!*

*Whoosh-!*

*BOOOMMMMM-!!*

Their attack clashed against each other at the center and the space distorted. The sky brightened up with white light, shining brighter than the sun, piercing the eyes of everyone to gazed at it.

A massive explosion echoed over the arena and the stage collapsed from the impact.

The ground cracked, the rocks disintegrated and everything vaporized into ash as the impact covered the entire arena.

The bright light had swallowed everything so nobody was able to see what happened.

But this clash between Alex and Yuno brought everyone to their feet as their expression mirrored each other with their eyes wide like saucers and their jaws touching the ground.

Nobody could make a single sound as the shock had taken over their senses.

They had never seen anything like that in their lives.

They still couldn't believe that Alex and Yuno were newcomers and commoners with such kind of powers.

Julius was startled and sweated profoundly, worried for the safety of the magic knights. He wanted to step forward but it was too late since even he had not anticipated that the fight would result in such a level of destruction.

Mereoleona and Charlotte's eyes were shivering from the sheer might displayed by the two young magic knights in the finals. While the former was excited, wanting to fight with them, the latter was completely speechless, with no idea of how to react.

As for others, their eyes revealed rich emotions like fear, admiration, awe, and jealousy.

Julius's worries were short-lived as a portal opened and Noelle, Mimosa, Zora, and En fell down from it, unconscious. Following them, Alex stepped out from the portal carrying an unconscious Yuno whose outfit was slightly torn up from places because of their clash.

Alex raised his head and said. "This match is a tie."

His words left everyone present on the platform speechless.

A tie?!

Are you kidding us?

What the hell were you saying?

You still care about the result after such a high-end display of your powers...

Julius stared at Alex with a complicated expression before sighing. "The final is over. And the winner is Team B!"

Now, it was Alex's turn to be dumbfounded as he asked. "Hey, hey, both of our crystals got destroyed at the same time. How did we win?"

Julius laughed and said. "It will be a disappointment if the final is a tie and also, you are still standing on your feet while others have been knocked out cold. It shows that you could have easily won if you wanted to."

Alex was annoyed and rubbed his head, muttering. "Winning is not everything in one's life, Julius. Sometimes watching your family member grow stronger is more satisfactory than a little win."

"You're a good brother." Julius smiled at Alex.

"Well, anyway, since this fight is over and we have time. How about let's have a battle right now?" Alex grinned.

Mereoleona smirked and asked. "Aren't you tired? Maybe you should rest a little..."

"And miss the chance to have a fight with the Wizard King himself. Nah! And it's not like we are going for a life-and-death battle. So, what do you say, Julius?" Alex smiled at Julius.

Julius gave a dry laugh, wiping the sweat on his forehead before he waved his hand.

"Haha, I respect your enthusiasm but we can't have you get hurt before the raid on the Eye of the Midnight Sun. Let's postpone it to after that raid."

Alex snorted, annoyed by his behavior. "You always push the battle. What a loser!"

"Hahaha..." Julius laughed, not offended by his sharp words.

'Status!' Alex said in his head and summoned his status screen.
