Minato woke up the next day and headed to the Hokage's building, knowing that sooner or later the Hokage would summon him for a talk.

He walked through the village that morning and even passed by the academy, full of children entering the place, talking to each other.

"Some weeks back, that was me..." Minato couldn't help but comment and continued on his way.

He arrived at the red building with the symbol of fire and entered, passing the usual secretary, when suddenly, an Anbu landed in front of him. "Minato Namikaze, the Hokage is waiting for you in his office," he announced, surprising the secretary.

Minato nodded and passed the reception heading to the second floor where the Hokage was waiting, seated and smoking his usual pipe.

"Minato... It's good to see you, my boy..." He said calmly.

"Hokage-Sama," Minato greeted him.

"Well, you had a difficult mission, starting your first mission with an S Rank on your first departure from the village, it's really commendable, I hope you are well rested," he asked with a grandmotherly tone.

"Yes, I am, spending my time with my acquaintances from the village," Minato responded.

"That's good, it's always good to have people at our home whom we like..." He reflected and then turned back to Minato. "I heard about the situation you got involved in yesterday, I didn't know you were godfather to a child of a Genin named Duy," the Hokage said curiously, now any movement Minato made, any person he involved himself with was being observed by the village's high council, it might seem like they are keeping surveillance on him, but it was a normal procedure for anyone who stands out like this, it happened with Kakashi's father, Jiraiya, and his companions.

"Yes, the little Guy," Minato said.

"I'm surprised by this... But I can understand, it was commendable of you to ask for help from Mito," he said, although thinking Minato's connection with Duy was random.

"Mito has always helped me," he stated.

"That's true, which shows she has always had a good eye, seeing your talent before anyone else..." the Hokage commented, as Minato was trying to understand what he meant with all these questions although Hiruzen had an aura that showed no hostility towards him.

"I also heard that you are very close to Kushina Uzumaki, actually I've always known, but yesterday I could see it better..." he mentioned.

"Yes..." Minato nodded, it was obvious that this man wanted to find something that would make him cling to the village and be loyal to it.

"That's good, you know your situation is not easy..." he said concerning Kushina.

"Yes. I know, I hope you don't let this information leak..." Minato spoke with a different tone, making Hiruzen raise an eyebrow to that.

'This boy is threatening me?' He couldn't help but think given Minato's stance. The Hokage sighed and dismissed it. "Yes, no information will be passed on, everything will be ultra-secret..." he stated.

"That's good..." Minato murmured.

"Anyway, let's stop talking about the village, and talk about your mission, you did a great service for the village on this mission," he began. Minato just nodded, he was already tired of saying that he just did his job, which was true.

Hiruzen continued: "You not only did a good job, but it also came to my knowledge that you mastered the technique you took from the Second Hokage. I honestly did not have faith that you would manage it, but look at you, rescuing one of the most important people in this country and avoiding a tragedy using it masterfully and just months after you picked it up, you are a great prodigy, Minato," he said.

"I was lucky, Mito helped me with the seals," Minato commented, a bit tired with all these questions the Hokage was posing.

"Interesting," Hiruzen commented and looked keenly at Minato. "Can you give me a hint on how you managed to master it?" he asked with some desire, after all, who wouldn't want to learn that technique? And with the way Minato used it according to the reports, wouldn't it put him on a level above what he was?

Minato sighed seeing the Hokage's aura shift to greed, something he had expected. "I believed I had a natural talent for it, as I have two ideal affinities for it, which are a combination of lightning and wind, making the execution of the technique easier..." Minato said.

"A combination of lightning and wind?" Hiruzen reflected. "Well, that makes sense. With that, you can use space-time techniques, almost like a Kekkei Genkai. You were born with three affinities... that's certainly special."

Hiruzen continued, causing Minato to roll his eyes, wondering if this interrogation would ever end. "Well, I would also like to talk about something that happened in your final battle to save the Damayo of the country. The reports speak of huge explosions at the site," Hiruzen inquired, curious, but Minato did not respond immediately. He just looked to the side where his sensei was standing by the window.

Jiraiya looked at Hiruzen. "Sensei, you can't keep questioning my student like this. Are you interrogating me by any chance?" Jiraiya spoke, not wanting Hiruzen to meddle too much in Minato's life as he was doing. Jiraiya had to intervene, after all the boy was now under his protection.

Hiruzen seemed a bit embarrassed while fidgeting with his hands. "No, Jiraiya. I was just curious," he said, wanting to change the subject. "Well, anyway, you've earned a good sum of money from the mission reward with the bonus sent from the capital, but the village also owes you something, so I am giving you these rank B and A jutsu," he said, placing six elemental scrolls on the table. Minato looked satisfied with that, at least he was receiving something significant.

Jiraiya just watched as Minato picked up the scrolls. "Come on, let's go out and take a walk," he said as they said goodbye to the Hokage.

"You took your time," Minato said as they were leaving the tower.

"I know, my bad," Jiraiya scratched his head. "I knew that sometimes he wants to know too much, but he overdid it with you..." Jiraiya admitted.

"It's over now... But I won't go in there without you again," Minato said, and Jiraiya nodded.

"What do you plan to do today?" Jiraiya asked.

"I was going to meet Kushina and Mita-Sama. I planned something with them..." Minato said.

"I see..." Jiraiya nodded. "Tomorrow, I want you to meet me at training ground 7. We'll be here a few more days, but I would like to train our team 7. It's time for me to teach you all something," Jiraiya said, and Minato nodded.

They continued walking together until Jiraiya stopped at a store and bought an ice cream that broke into two parts, handing one to Minato as in the original work, Minato didn't refuse as they walked some more until they reached a thermal bath.

"Sorry Minato, I can't join you, after all, I have to do some research," Jiraiya said with a mischievous face, and Minato shook his head, thinking his teacher would never change.

Thus, he continued on his way alone while heading back to the village center and soon spotted the Senju clan, entering through the gate without any problems.

Kushina was waiting at the entrance with a bath towel and a sun hat, which surprised Minato.

Mito finally arrived at his side as she walked with her cane. "We've been waiting for you," she said cheerfully as Hiruzen approached with a cane. "You finally arrived, boy. Come on, I'm eager for us to get going," she said cheerfully. "I managed to dismiss my Anbu, so we have the whole day."

"Are you ready then? Where's Duy?" Minato asked.

"Yes. So, I sent my Anbu after him while the boy was visiting his mother in the hospital..." Mito said playfully.

"Understand, shall we go then?" Minato said, eager to not waste any more time as they nodded. He touched them and disappeared the next moment, heading to the coast.

"This is really incredible," Mito commented, unable to help but admire as she touched the sand with her bare feet, leaning on her cane and feeling the sea breeze.

Minato was tired from the teleportation of two people as he tried to catch his breath.

Meanwhile, Kushina quickly began to play, and like the last time, running through the sand and feeling the water on her feet.

Guren seemed to sense when Minato was arriving. "MINATO?! I THOUGHT YOU WOULD NEVER COME BACK!" He immediately came out of the water yelling at Minato.

"Hello Guren... well, yes... I ended up coming back here one last time..." Minato said, after all, Mito's request was not in his plans.

Mito approached Minato, "So this is the talking carp? I've never seen anything like it in my life," she commented.

Guren looked at Mito for a while, then at Minato. "Minato, is she your girlfriend too?" Guren exclaimed, startled, as Minato fell to the ground dazed and Mito began to laugh.

"No, Mr. Fish, I am a married woman who will soon meet her husband. But tell me more about yourself," Mito was not offended and just joked, asking for more information about the fish while Guren began to talk about his clan, about his clan's waterfall trial, and how he met Minato with the training they started to do together.

They ended up spending the entire afternoon while Mito sat on a rock feeling the breeze and appearing at peace, Minato ended up walking with Kushina along the beach. Sometimes she would go into the water to swim.

They only finished at the end of the afternoon. "Well, it's time for us to go. My Anbu must be looking for me by now," Mito commented.

Minato nodded, “Goodbye Guren!” Minato said farewell.

“Goodbye Minato, Goodbye Miss Mita, Goodbye Mrs. Kushina!” Guren shouted from the water, and Minato touched the women, before they disappeared.

They reappeared in the Senju clan again.

“41, 42...” It was late afternoon at that moment, as they listened to the child doing push-ups in the middle of the clan, it was Guy training after seeing his mother in the hospital.

Minato approached him and started talking to him. “Minato!” He exclaimed, excited, since his mother seemed to be showing improvement in her condition.

Minato talked with him for a while and said that he would visit his mother with him as soon as he could in the coming days.

“Minato, now you must make a meal for this lady!” Mita called him after a while, since she had requested it, and he nodded, going to the main house's kitchen while making a special good meal for the most important woman in the village.

“This is delicious!” Mita said with a small smile.

“Yes!” Kushina said with a blush.

“With this... I can do 1000 push-ups!” Little Guy shouted and ran out of the house to train.

“He's very exaggerated...” Minato murmured.

He spent some more time talking with the Uzumaki women and it was late, “Well, it's time for me to go, I hope he'll be okay here...” Minato said of the boy continuing the training still in the middle of the place, even though it had already gotten dark.

“It's okay, although I've never seen any boy so energetic, we'll take care of him.” Mito said and Minato nodded.

“So I'm going.” Minato said goodbye and disappeared, reappearing in his room going straight to bed after changing.

He then went to rest... after all, tomorrow he would meet with his team for training that his teacher had mentioned.
