Chapter 348: Water 7

“What a nice wind,” Nami commented as she saw the main sail getting pushed by the wind. “We will get there sooner than expected,” she added.

“We will,” Usopp added.

“So are we recruiting someone else from Water 7?” Porche asked.

“Yes, we will, we need someone to take care of our ships,” Luffy replied.

Nami thought, who is looking after Ben`s ship. She only cared because her sister was on it.

“Leave that to me Luffy, I will recruit another attractive woman,” Sanji said as he looked at Porche and Nami. He was not going to let that monster Ben get any more women.

“Are you an idiot, it's a shipwright. It could be a man tall as a mountain,” Luffy said.

“But if he is too big, then he might not fit into the ship,” Usopp replied.

“All that matters is his skills,” Zoro replied.

“Looks like we are going to get a new friend,” Chopper said.

Nami nodded and opened the maps. She saw a hand drawn drawing of a map which looked like a child had drawn. “Too simple,” she shouted and chucked it on the ground.

“Looks like Luffy would draw this,” Chopper said.

Luffy had drawn a bad drawing of a person with two arms, two legs and body with a large head. Both Sani and Usopp were not impressed. “This is the person I want,” Luffy confidently said.

“I can see it,” Chopper said. They all look and saw the place. There was a towering centerpiece that appeared to be like a water fountain where streams of water came down its sides. The island was circular and rose in layers, with multiple water channels flowing from the top down to the base. There were numbered sections. The surrounding area includes smaller buildings and structures. “

“Amazing,” Luffy said.

“It is beautiful,” Nami added.

“So pretty,” Porche interjected.

“It looks like a water fountain,” Sanji commented.

“We could slide down it,” Luffy said.

“That sounds scary,” Chopper added.

Nami looked and saw a building. It looked like an old building. There were pillars which held up the structure. “Blue Station,” Nami read out. She thought this must be the station where the seatrain goes to.
“Hey you, pirates should not be here, take the back streets,” a man shouted on his small fishing boat.

“Okay, thank you,” Luffy replied. Usopp turned the Going Merry and headed through the channels. They saw an amazing sight. There were other small boats traveling through. Riiver-side restaurants. A pathway to walk down. Luffy had his mouth opened.

“Hey you pirates, you should not be here,” another man shouted. Usopp was getting nervous. “You should head to the cape,” he added. “It will protect you against the Marines,” he said.

“Thank you,” Luffy replied. They headed towards the cape and anchored the Going Merry.

Zoro started to pull the rope down, to lower the sail. All of a sudden the wooden mask snapped.

Luffy, Chopper and Usopp looked shocked. “I was only pulling the rope,” Zoro commented.

“Fix it,” Usopp said.

“She is in bad shape,” Sanji said.

“Let's get her fixed, we have the letter from Kokoro,” Nami said.

“Let's go,” Usopp and Luffy said as they both started to run off.

“Wait, let's take the gold,” Nami shouted.

They both stopped and came back. Nami, Usopp and Luffy put the gold on a cart and covered it with a sheet and they headed off.

“Do you want to go for a walk, Chopper?” Porche asked.

“Okay,” Chopper replied.

Nami, Usopp and Luffy headed to town. “Having this much gold makes me so much nervous,” Usopp said.

“We had to beat that snake,” Luffy replied.

“Tell me about it,” Nami said as she recalled the horrors of being chased around, then eaten and spat out. This was all with her idiot captain.

Luffy laughed, “Shishishi.”

Nami punched Luffy. “It is not funny,” she replied. “But Usopp is right, we need to exchange quickly,” Nami added.

Luffy agreed and headed into town. They walked in and saw the waterways. Luffy and Usopp were excited and walked down. They saw people traveling in animals on their backs. “That looks cool,” Luffy said.

“It would be fun to ride,” Usopp replied.

“Focus,” Nami said.

They walked until they found the “Cashing.” They looked to see a building with windows made from blue glass. There were two pillars at the front and the building was round.

“This must be the place,” Nami commented.

They all entered the brightly lit room and saw a pale man with short black hair and a large, pointed mustache. He wore a white shirt with purple overalls. “We would like to exchange our gold,” Nami said, her tone professional.

The man nodded, his mustache twitching slightly. “Certainly, I am Ishigo Shitemanna and I will be happy to help,” he replied, his voice smooth and courteous.

“Money!” Luffy exclaimed eagerly.

Ishigo led them into a separate room. The room was small but well-furnished, with a large wooden table in the center. Nami carefully laid out their gold on the table, each piece gleaming under the light.

Ishigo's eyes widened in amazement as he inspected the gold. He weighed each piece meticulously, nodding to himself as he did. “This is worth 100,000 Beli,” Ishigo finally said.

Usopp's face fell slightly. “That’s it?” he muttered under his breath, clearly expecting more.

Nami's eyes narrowed suspiciously. “Our captain has a bounty of 100,000,000 Beli. If you try to scam us, we will be back, and it won’t be pleasant,” she warned, her tone icy.

Ishigo paled even further, a look of panic crossing his face. “Madam, I apologize! I must have made a mistake. This gold is worth 300,000 Beli,” he corrected himself hastily, his voice trembling slightly.

Luffy's face broke into a wide grin. “Yay! More money!” he exclaimed.

Nami’s stern expression softened just a bit. “Good. See that you don’t make such mistakes in the future,” she said, her voice firm but satisfied. She collected the money and put it in suitcases.

As they left the shop, Usopp couldn’t help but chuckle. “You really scared him, Nami,” Usopp said.

Nami smirked. “Well, sometimes you have to be tough to get what you deserve,” she replied.

Luffy nodded enthusiastically. “Yeah, and now we have more money for meat!”

“This is for the Going Merry,” they both said.

From a distance, there were people wearing black overalls observing their action. “Tell the guys at the ship, to take them down, we will get them here,” he said. Another man smiled and nodded.

Meanwhile, on the Going Merry, Zoro was taking a nap. Sanji had run off somewhere. Zoro couldn't care less. He reached for his sword and blocked an incoming attack. “Who is bothering my nap?” Zoro asked as he got up and pushed the man back.

Zoro looked to see a dozen men around him. “We are here to take your ship,” he said.

Zoro smiled. “Are you?” he asked. He swung his blade and cut the man down. He looked at everyone around him. They took a step back.

“There is only one of him,” another shouted. Zoro smiled and dashed towards him and swung his sword down and cut his chest. He went down to the ground.

“What was he saying?” Zoro asked. The men took another step back and started to run. Zoro ran towards him and slashed him.

He smiled. “This will be good practice,” Zoro said as he ran towards the next person and slashed the man. He jumped and brought his sword down and hit another one.

The rest had run away. Zoro yawned and went back to napping.
