One Piece: Grand Harem Adventures

Chapter 408: Secret Treasure (?)

Meanwhile, Gasparde, Needless, and Morgan made their way down a dimly lit corridor inside the Tower of Justice. The walls around them shook with each tremor. “There seems to be some heavy fighting going on,” Gasparde observed, his eyes narrowing as he felt the vibrations.

“Perfect,” Morgan replied. “They’re all distracted, just as we hoped,” he added. Their minds flashed back to the chaos earlier, a random shell had landed near them, creating a massive explosion that threw them in all directions. When they regrouped, they found themselves near the Courthouse, away from the main battle. They had witnessed a small robot tearing through Marines and Cipher Pol agents and a large Mech wreaking havoc in the distance.

“Shouldn't we have confronted the Love Pirates for our revenge?” Needless muttered, his voice tense with frustration. His fingers flexed impatiently, itching for a fight.

“Patience, Needless,” Gasparde replied, his tone calm but firm. “You’ve seen what kind of firepower and arsenal they possess. Charging in without a plan would be suicide. If we’re going to take them down, we need to be strategic. Otherwise, we’re going to lose every time.” Despite his calm words, there was a hard edge to his voice; he hated admitting their current disadvantage, but he couldn’t ignore the reality. The Love Pirates had grown strong, and their numbers had increased. A direct assault right now was out of the question.

Needless gritted his teeth, his frustration was evident. “We’re not running away,” Gasparde added.

Morgan smirked. “No one’s suggesting we run. In fact, this is the perfect moment to make our move. While they’re busy fighting, we slip in and take what we came for,” he remarked.

Gasparde nodded. “Exactly. Inside the basement, there’s a room filled with intelligence which people will pay handsomely for, weapons, and maybe treasure. All valuable for us which will turn the tide in our favor in the future,” Gasparde added. He thought,

“We can end them now,” Needless said.

“If the opportunity arises then we will,” Gasparde replied. He knew Needless was a little hot headed when it came to battles.

“We should keep moving,” Morgan said. They continued down the corridor until they saw a Blue Gorilla roaming the corridors.

“It's down here,” Gasparde said. He remembered hearing about these beasts which can slay seakings.

“The door should be there,” Morgan said. He remembered during training, there was a group of people who came over from Enies Lobby and they talked about this place after a few drinks.

“Let's take him down,” Gasparde said.

“Don't order me,” Morgan replied. Needless rushed towards the Blue Gorilla. He had his claws out and slashed the Blue Gorilla from the back. The Blue Gorilla felt pain and swung his axe down. Needles jumped out of the way. Morgan jumped up and swung his axe down and pierced the chest of the Blue Gorilla. The Blue Gorilla started to bleed however he quickly grabbed Morgan by his shirt and threw him at Needles. They both went crashing to the ground.

The Blue Gorilla was about to swing his axe down at them. Gasparde turned his fist into a giant green hand fist. “Candy Syrup Fist,” he said as he punched the Blue Gorilla. The Blue Gorilla got hit by the fist and he got pushed back and slammed onto the wall. The Blue Gorilla swung his axe and destroyed the candy fist.

The Blue Gorilla jumped towards Gasparde. Needless run towards him and jumped in the way. He blocked the attack. They both clashed and there was a spark. Needles was getting pushed back when Morgan came and swung his axe down and hit his arms. Morgan penetrated his arm and cut him. The Blue Gorilla dropped his axe. “Green Syrup Slinger,” Gasparde said as he put his hand forward and generated the green syrup into pellets. He fired the pellets at the Blue Gorilla who got hit. He stumbled backwards from the attack. Morgan and Needless both slashed the Blue Gorilla at the same time. There was a splash of blood which left his body as he went down.

“Let's keep moving,” Gasparde said.

Meanwhile, Spandam, Robin, and Franky walked up the spiral staircase, a squad of Marines and Cipher Pol Agents surrounded them on all sides. Spandam’s maniacal laughter echoed off the stone walls as he shoved Robin forward. “Move it, you worthless criminal!” he sneered, giving her another hard push. Robin stumbled but managed to catch herself.

Robin thought she needed to escape. She needed to get away. Meanwhile Franky was in a struggle with the Marines surrounding him. He snarled and thrashed, biting at one of them.
“Get off me, you freak!” a Marine shouted as Franky sank his teeth into the man's arm.

Spandam’s face twisted. “Enough, you idiots! Keep them under control, or I’ll press this button!” he yelled, holding up the Buster Call Den Den Mushi. His finger hovered over the golden snail. “One more outburst, and I’ll summon the Navy’s entire fleet to obliterate this place!”

“Don't joke about it!” Robin cried out. “That Buster Call... it’s one of the most devastating attacks in existence! You’ll destroy everything!” she shouted

Spandam turned to her with a wicked grin. “Oh, I’m not joking, Nico Robin,” he replied with a mocking tone. “In fact, I'm tempted to press it right now just to see the look on your face when you realise all your friends are going to be reduced to ashes!” he added. He laughed.

Robin could not let that happen. Franky growled. “You cowardly son of a…" he said.

Spandam cut him off. “Silence, cyborg!” he snapped. “Or do you want to be the reason this entire island is reduced to rubble?” he said.

Franky glanced at Robin. She shook her head slightly, a silent plea for him not to provoke Spandam any further.

Spandam’s grin widened. “That’s right,” he sneered. “Behave, and maybe… just maybe… I won’t press this button. But keep resisting, and I’ll make sure this island and all of you are nothing but a memory,” he remarked.

Robin’s mind raced. She knew Spandam was an idiot, but she also knew he loved to gloat. If she could just find a way to exploit that arrogance.

Franky, meanwhile, was still struggling against the Marines, but he was listening closely to Robin's breathing, sensing her tension. “What’s the plan, Robin?” he muttered under his breath, too low for Spandam to hear.

Robin took a deep breath. “We need to buy time… wait for the right moment. My crewmates are close. He won't press the button if he thinks he still has control over us,” she whispered back.

Franky did not like the idea however he thought the Love Pirates were different. He thought his survival chances were better. They walked up the stairs and got to the top. There they saw a long bridge leading to a gate. The bridge was filled with Marines and Cipher Agents. “This is the Bridge of Hesitation,” Spandam said. “It only leads to the Marine Headquarters or Impel Down,” he added. He smiled, “Your fate is sealed,” he said.
