'Or I can just man up and do it' Alex thought as Bella parked the truck in the school's parking lot.

Getting outside, Alex and Bella saw a Volvo and a BMW pull up next to them.

After the rumble of the cars died down, Alex saw the Cullens heading out of their vehicles.

Alex furrowed his brows minutely and turned around, heading towards the school.

"I'll see you later Bells," Alex said as he gave a wave without even turning around.

"See you Alex" Bella replied as she waved at his back.

'What's gotten into him today?' Bella thought as she stared at Alex's back.

Edward came and stood next to Bella as he looked at Alex.

"He'll be fine, I'm sure it's just a bad morning," Edward said as he turned his head to face Bella.

Turning her head, Bella stared into Edward's amber eyes and nodded.

"Right, I guess so"

Alex arrived inside the school.

He walked down the hall and into his class.

His mind was still occupied with thoughts and he didn't even notice the passage of time as the first few classes passed by in a flash.

*Riiinnnggg*

The bell signaling the start of lunch rang and Alex slung his backpack over his shoulder and headed toward the cafeteria.

*Sigh*

Releasing a soft sigh, Alex finally came to the conclusion.

It had taken a lot of thought but he finally came to a decision.

'Unlock' Alex thought as he released his mind shield.

Opening the doors of the cafeteria, Alex started walking toward the table where he usually sat with Mike and the others.

'I'm telling Bella about myself as well since you seem to have already done so.' Alex thought as he sat on the chair and greeted Mike, Eric, and Jessica with Angela.

Edward's and Edythe's heads snapped towards him almost instantaneously.

'What, why the surprise? Did Alice and Jasper not tell you?' Alex asked as he watched them from the corner of his sight.

'Either way, it would probably be better if we simply told her everything from the get-go, or at least I will. If you want we can do this together or I can just do it on my own. Tell me your decision after classes.' Alex said and then closed his mind once more.

"So you scored the best three-pointer of your life?" Alex asked Mike who had been talking to him since the beginning of lunch.

"Yeah, you just had to see it, it was the craziest shot ever," Mike said as he waved his arms around trying to explain the situation better.

"Right," Alex said.

The rest of lunch and the following classes were boring and Alex didn't really have much to do.

He did the work given to him and answered any questions the professors had.

*Riiiiinngggg*

Finally the last ring of the day.

Getting up, Alex immediately headed toward the parking lot.

Whilst he walked, Alex maneuvered around the large crowd of students trying to get out as well.

He was like a snake that managed to bypass everyone and soon arrived at the parking lot.

Heading toward the old truck, Alex placed his back against it and waited for the Cullens and Bella to arrive.

It didn't take long until Alex saw Bella and the rest of the Cullens heading toward him.

"Yo," Alex said as he gave them all a wave.

Edward and Edythe had a serious expression on their face while Bella simply looked confused.

Rosalie always had that sulking look whilst Emmet and Jasper were almost expressionless or maybe they just didn't care at all.

'Alice' Alex thought as he stared at her.

Once more it felt like the others didn't matter at all, as if their expressions were simply an afterthought in front of Alice.

Alice was there smiling at him, it was almost reassuring. It wasn't her usual smile however, it lacked its intensity and was instead a soft smile.

'Why can't I understand you at all Alice? It's like my mind becomes a block of ice and I can't figure you out no matter how hard I try' Alex's thoughts however were soon broken by Bella's voice.

"Alex?"

"Hey Bells, we're going to the Cullen's house," Alex said as he turned around to face Bella, his tunnel vision with Alice broken.

Bella let out a surprised sound as her confusion grew.

Turning her head at Edward and the others, she finally saw their serious expressions.

"You all are out of your minds, how are you even thinking about telling her? It's Insane" Rosalie said as she huffed and frowned her eyebrows even further than she already had.

Alex turned to face her and then almost sneered.

"It's your brother who did it first, wasn't it? The cats are already out of the bag."

Rosalies expression turned fierce, killing intent seemed to quickly fill up the air as she looked at Alex.

"All right, let's calm down. What's done is done so how about we listen to Alex and go home?" Alice said as she interrupted the situation from escalating further.

Jasper nodded as he came to stand next to her, quickly the atmosphere turned much calmer.

Alex felt a prickling sensation in his mind, it was almost as if something was trying to invade it forcefully but it was being blocked.

'So that's what it feels like when he tries to actively use his emotion control' Alex thought as he nodded minutely, more to himself than to Alice.

Turning around, Alex opened the trucks door and hopped into the drivers seat.

"Hop in Bell," Alex said as he turned to face her.

Bella looked almost frozen, the confusion had spread too much, and she looked like she thought nothing made sense at all.

*Sigh*

'I guess that's what it looks like' Alex thought and then called her over once more.

"Come on Bella, We're going to explain everything, I promise," Alex said as he beckoned Bella to join him in the truck.

Nodding her head, Bella turned to look at the others one more time and then went inside the truck.

The Truck and the two Cullen cars quickly turned on and reversed out of the parking lot.

Following behind the silver Volvo was the old orange truck and behind the truck was the BMW, it truly looked like a strange combination.

Sorry about yesterday but windows just decided to crash out on me so i had to install Linux.
