Reincarnation – Naruto

This time when Danzo appeared, he was wary of me. He couldn’t figure out what happened. I wanted to hide the flying thunder god but figured it would be best to tell him about it. Normally, I don’t talk during fights, but I’ll make an exception for him.

“Thanks for the scroll of seals. It really helped me master the flying thunder god. Thanks for distracting the Sarutobi with the Uchiha massacre.” I mocked.

Danzo looked angry. Well, he should be. He is responsible for half the shit that happens in Konoha and he chose to reduce powerhouses instead of strengthening Konoha.

Danzo released wind release vacuum blade but I teleported near Danzo using the seal I planted on him and stabbed him with a sword I picked up after killing a member of root. I just needed the extra reach.

Danzo reappeared once again. I used wind release vacuum blade that I just copied. Since I’ve been training with chakra nature transformation, I was somehow able to pull it off. But Danzo used wind release vacuum serial wave to stop them. I dodged all the waves. The problem is that even though Danzo is weak, he was still a kage level shinobi once. His battle instinct although dull, is still good.

He attacked me using wind release vacuum sphere. I attacked using fire release great fireball. I knew that there was no way that I could kill Danzo easily especially since he had six more lives. So I used the fireball as a distraction to reduce his vision.

I created three shadow clones. One attacked from his left, another from his right, and another from his front. He used wind release vacuum wave to stop them. Just as he finished casting the jutsu, I appeared behind him and stabbed his heart. He once again appeared at some distance away.

I was running out of ways to kill him. The more I kill him, the more he gets accustomed to my fighting style. I could still use susano but I won’t last the fight. This time he took the initiative to launch wind release slash and I created a shadow clone and we used the fire release intelligent hardwork and wind release violent whirlwind.

I really need to increase the number of jutsu I know but I had the time to master just two jutsu apart from my regular training. Although I wanted to skip my regular training, I thought that in the long run, the number of jutsus wouldn’t matter.

He used wind release vacuum great sphere. It dispelled my jutsu. Although all my jutsu have sage chakra, I had only recently unlocked my sage mode. It's not the significant powerup I expected but I think it will advance as I advance.

Using observation haki, I determined the safest path from where the jutsus collided. I covered myself in armament haki and plunged the sword into his throat through the explosion. He was surprised to see that I was fine.

I never expected the first time I used armament haki would be for defence that too against my own jutsu. But it was getting harder to catch Danzo off guard. I can’t maintain armament haki so my only option was to use it in unexpected situations like this.

After Danzo reappeared, I used a smoke bomb and created a dozen shadow clones. I gave one clone half my chakra. Then my clones started to attack him using taijutsu. He took that as a sign of me being tired.

I was constantly pushed back. My clone who had half my chakra was fighting Danzo. Another clone who had a quarter of my complete chakra was busy helping the people of the village.

My clone was constantly injured. I had seen Sarutobi having a clone that did not pop immediately after getting injured when was attacked by Orochimaru. I replicated it and found out that the higher the chakra the clone had, the more durable it was.

Just before my clone was about to pop, I appeared behind Danzo, coated the sword in armament haki, and thrust it toward him. Although he was caught off guard, he still put up a kunai for defence.

This is one of the reasons I did not use armament haki in this battle. I can use armament haki to attack five times during battle. During practice, I could maintain it much longer but during actual combat, five was my limit for now. But that was just attacking.

I had used armament haki once to defend which took two times worth of haki. Now since Danzo put up a kunai to defend, my armament haki cut through it like a hot knife through butter. After slicing the knife, I did not stop and pierced his heart.

Danzo once again reappeared and rushed towards me. I was pretending to be exhausted. As soon as Danzo was close enough, I activated my susano in skeleton form and crushed him. Danzo once again reappeared but this time he decided to flee.

I pushed a sword made out of chakra through his chest and deactivated my susano. By now all the eyes on Danzo’s hand have been closed. Adding to his attempt to flee, he should be dead by now. But I knew better. He still had a sharingan in his eye. I pretended to walk away when Danzo reappeared behind me.

“Reverse four symbol seal. I’ll take you with me to pure land.” Danzo’s arm went out of control without the sharingan to counter Hashirama cells. He decisively cut his arm and held on to me with another.

I instantly removed a part of the seal and it stopped activating. Then I performed Amaterasu at his feet. Soon pained cries reverberated in the base. When the flames reached his head, I activated Tsukuyomi.

“How does it feel to be burned by Amaterasu over and over again? Don’t worry, we have seventy two hours together.”

“Why are you doing this?” I really wanted to tell him the truth but I decided that I shouldn’t do anything until I was sure he was completely dead.

“To destroy Konoha. Why else. You remind me of Madara.”

“I am nothing like the cursed Uchiha.”

“Really? I was sure you were related somehow. He wanted to unify the five villages and so did you. He wanted the Hokage position and so did you. He betrayed Hashirana and you betrayed Sarutobi. The only difference is that you don’t have any power.”

“I don’t believe you.”

“I’ve got no reason to lie to you. You are already dead and you know it as well.”

“Everything I do is for the sake of Konoha.”

“Madara used to think the same. I have a question though. When you say ‘Everything I do is for the sake of Konoha’ do you mean everything you do is for the good of Konoha or do you mean everything you do is for the sake of obtaining Konoha?” Danzo looked at me with hate in his eyes.

“Don’t answer that. Let me just remind you of your deeds. You plotted against the Uzumaki. You eradicated the Senju and the Uchiha clan. You were involved in the deaths of Dan Kato, Minato Uzumaki, and Sukumo Hatake. How did your actions help Konoha?”

“They were unstable factors in the village.”

“I can understand that about the Uzumaki and the Uchiha since Uchiha was going to launch a coup and Uzumaki were outsiders. But what about the Senju clan? What about Minato Namikaze and Sukumo Hatake?”

“They would have left Konoha in ruins.”

“And how are your actions any different? With you dead, there is only Kushina remaining in the village. How will Konoha survive my attack let alone any other village.”

“If I was alive, I would have handled everything.”

“Are you so deluded that you believe that? I defeated you and I’m barely an elite jonin. What makes you think you can survive Onoki or A?”

“I would have commanded Jiraiya and Tsunade to return to the village.”

“You really are that deluded. How could you be sure that they would not become the unstable factor you were talking about? Don’t reply. It’s clear to me that although you prepare many contingencies, you do not consider long term goals. You are completely power hungry and a moron through and through.”

“You do not consider how your actions will affect the village and only think about yourself. Now I understand why no one wanted to appoint you as Hokage. You would kill off all ninjas weaker than you or control them with the cursed tongue eradication technique. It would take just one smart individual hiding his true strength to destroy Konoha.”

“Well, you can die knowing that you significantly contributed to the destruction of Konoha. If I fail, the rest of the four villages will finish the job for me. So you can die knowing that it was you who made the destruction of Konoha possible. So thank you from the bottom of my heart.” I left him with these words. I knew these words would be more torturous than the flames of Amaterasu.

After his body burned out completely, I waited at the base for fifteen minutes to replenish my strength and make sure that there wasn’t anything I missed. My clone gave me a scroll in which all the useful things of Danzo’s base are present. After waiting for fifteen minutes, I teleported near my clone and replaced it in fighting off the invaders of Konoha.
