Reincarnation – Naruto

After killing Danzo my real body substituted with my shadow clone. My shadow clone was reaching where Gaara had escaped. I knew that it would not be easy to fight Gaara as I didn’t have a summon.

I saw the three headed snake and blasted it with rasengan. At that point, I saw Jiraiya arrive so I left it to him and rushed towards Gaara. On the way, we encountered the sand ninjas but I left my shadow clone who then took care of them.

I didn’t particularly trust Asuma. He was the son of the third hokage after all. As soon as we caught up with the sand trio, Gaara turned into a mini Shukaku. There was no way I would be caught using thousand years of death.

So I created a dozen shadow clones and each attacked him with a rasengan. Although he destroyed three of my clones, the rest attacked him and he was blasted away. Now my real problems started as Gaara turned into a full sized Shukaku.

I took a risk at this time. I entered three tails in Kurama chakra mode and started gathering chakra near my mouth. I already knew the ratio of the chakra was 8:2. I could feel my chakra draining rapidly.

The bomb was unstable so I fired it at Shukaku. Although it was lacking in power, it did its job. Shukaku fired an air bullet but it was too close to him and the shock wave dispersed Shukaku and woke up Gaara.

“You are all not the enemy of Konoha. You have been betrayed as well, and your kazekage is probably dead. I advise you to leave and send someone to negotiate a peace treaty once Konoha elects a new hokage.” Since the fight was a little further from our original spot, Shikamaru, Sasuke, and Sakura were not present.

I laid down on the ground and pretended to be weak for the benefit of my teammates and the sand ninjas. Seeing this a complicated look appeared in Temari’s eyes but she took Gaara and fled. Soon the others found me and took me back to Konoha.

By now the commotion had already calmed down. A medical ninja came to check on me and announced that I was just out of chakra and would be ok soon. People in the village started gathering for the funeral of the third hokage.

Jiraiya POV

After the funeral, I was called into the hokage office. I’m sure those old fools want me to take the office. They can dream. There is no way I would do anything that would cut my research time. Although being the hokage gives me access to telescope jutsu, there is only so much new content you can find in the same place.

“Jiraiya you have to take on the position of hokage.” Homura started yapping as soon as I entered the office.

“I’m not suited for the position of the hokage.”

“If not you then who?” For all I care as long as I’m not disturbed Danzo can take over.

“There is one more sannin who is available and would make a good hokage due to her reputation and position.” Sorry Tsunade for throwing you under the bus.

“Yes. Tsunade is perfect for the position. But Jiraiya, you have to move quickly and find her because during the attack Danzo died.” I was shocked at this news. This day just keeps on getting better. Both of those old fools are dead. But I maintained my surprised expression.

“How did he die?”

“He was killed by the Akatsuki.” After saying that, she handed me a scroll with all the details about the attacker including his jutsu. It was problematic.

“I’ll stay in the village for a few months after Tsunade is named hokage.” I told them my bottom line. There is no way I’m getting dragged into their politics.

“Alright.” They knew that this was the best they were going to get so they agreed pretty quickly.

“I’m taking Naruto Uzumaki with me.” They waved their hands at me signalling that they didn’t care. All they care about is that one of the jinchuriki is in the village. After leaving the office I went towards the Uzumaki residence.

Naruto POV

After being called down, I was in a pretty bad mood. I was about to fuck Haku when Kushina called me downstairs. I say that Jiraiya was in the living room and my anger evaporated pretty quickly. It seems it is time to meet the legendary sucker. Are her cock sucking skills are also legendary? I wondered.

“Jiraiya sama, what can I do for you?”

“No need to be so formal brat.”

“Ok. Ero-senin what can I do for you?” Kushina started laughing at this.

“Ok ero senin. Where are we going?”

“Stop it with the ero senin already. We are going to find Tsunade.”

“No can’t do. Since you said not to be formal with you, I’ll call you out by the title most suited to you.” After saying that I went to pack my things.

At the gate ok Konoha

“Let’s go brat. I’ll try to train you on the way.”

“Ok. Let me tell you what I do know. I know rasengan, the flying thunder god, and the sage mode. What else can you teach me?”

“You already signed a contract?”

“No Kurama taught me.” He was confused

“Who is Kurama?” I chuckled and pointed at my abdomen. His eyes went wide.

“You trusted the fox?”

“What’s there not to trust? I would rather trust it than my fellow villagers. At least he shows his emotions openly rather than wearing a mask.”

“What are you talking about brat?” He looked at me solemnly.

“Oh please. Don’t treat me the same as those brain dead morons. The disappearance of the Senju clan, the suicide of Sukumo Hatake, the death of my dad, the massacre of the Uchiha clan by one of their own, I don’t get how no one finds these coincidences weird.”

“What are you trying to say brat?” He looked angry.

“Just that these are some weird coincidences.” He looked at me and dropped the subject. He knew better than me about the darkness of Konoha.

“I can allow you to sign a contract with Mount Myoboku.” He finally said.

“It would be redundant in a few years. I have Kurama and once I become a perfect jinchuriki, those toads would not help at all.”

Jiraiya POV

I was shocked at the brat. I had tried to intimidate him but he was unaffected. Although his words had some truth in it. I’m surprised by how effective Hiruzen’s brainwashing was. How did people not notice such a coincidence?

I didn’t have anything to teach him. I was a bit relieved as well. I only wanted to hand over my contract to my disciple. But it’s such a shame. I hope I can find another disciple. Although I still think he is the boy of the prophecy.

Naruto POV

We stopped at an inn when it was about to get dark. I opened the system panel the first time after it was activated. I was shocked to find 1,982,248 coins present. When I checked the notification log, I noticed that notifications were muted. Since the system only provided with training methods, I didn’t bother to open it. But now that my strength had stagnated, I thought maybe I could buy some training methods.

It seems that every time I defeated an enemy or learned a technique on my own, I earned some coins depending on the level of achievement. I bought the instruction manual for observation haki: range, observation haki: feelings, observation haki: future sight, armament haki: emission, armament haki: internal destruction, and conqueror’s coating.

I only had 482,248 coins remaining. Each of the haki cost 200,000 while the conqueror's coating cost 500,000. There were some other things that I could buy but this itself will take a long time to practice.

Although I had emotion sensing with Kurama chakra mode, I didn’t want to rely solely on it. Soon a huge amount of information flooded my brain and I passed out.

The next day we left the inn at dawn. On the road, I started practice hardening. I had to increase the time limit on the hardening. The manual for basic observation haki, armament haki, and conqueror haki were not present in the system shop. After I learned them on my own they were removed from the shop.

“What are you doing brat?” Jiraiya questioned.

“I’m trying to coat my arms with chakra. Although I can do it, I cannot maintain it for a long time.”

“I cannot help you with that but Tsunade is an expert and can help you with it.”
