Rise of the Zerg in the World of Gods

Chapter 85: Don’t Fight, I Surrender

In the boundless starry void, broken Divine Realms floated everywhere.

Once beautiful small worlds, they were now carelessly discarded. Without the protection of their Divine Realm cores, they would slowly disintegrate in the face of void turbulence.

At this time, the entire novice Divine Realm was in chaos, with battles breaking out wherever encounters occurred.

Many who didn't want to participate in this melee either relocated their Divine Realms or found ways to temporarily hide them.

After painstakingly developing for so many years, not everyone wanted to participate in a major war.

Winning was fine, but losing would mean devastating losses.

Piloting the starships, Xu Luo's Zerg units were densely packed inside, occupying almost all available space.

Fortunately, apart from the Earth Dragon Zerg, the other Zerg units were small and didn't take up much space.

Xu Luo's custom-made starships weren't ready yet, so these were provided by the education department. He was only allocated fifteen of them.

Unwilling to use transmission channels for each Divine Realm, he had to resort to transporting troops via starships.

Normally, starships couldn't transport many troops; only with sufficient numbers could they form a large army.

Fifteen starships couldn't transport many troops at all.

However, Xu Luo's Zerg didn't need to consider logistics. Each Creep was filled with evolution points, and units like Worker Bees and Face Huggers were small, allowing for many to be packed in. So although he only had fifteen ships, the number of units he was transporting was considerable.

The starships flew swiftly through the void.

Soon, he saw several Divine Realms pressed together, engaged in login battles.

Not wanting to use transmission channels, and with starships being too slow, another option was for two Divine Realms to directly contact each other for login battles.

But this method was difficult unless the two Divine Realms were very close, within sight. How else could one precisely relocate their Divine Realm to the other's location?

Unless one knew the other's Divine Realm coordinates, allowing for precise teleportation.

But Divine Realm coordinates were a God's biggest secret. How would they let others know?

Seeing this scene, Xu Luo's expression darkened.

Apart from oneself, there were others who could know Divine Realm coordinates!

Realizing that high-level education department officials might have leaked students' coordinate information using their authority, Xu Luo felt very apprehensive.

Fortunately, his current Divine Realm had long since moved from its initial location.

By the time he arrived, the battle there had already ended, and several alien Divine Realms were now plundering resources.

After looting the resources they needed, these Divine Realms would be useless, soon to be annihilated by void turbulence. Eventually, new Divine Realms would be relocated or directly initialized here.

Despite facing several opponents, Xu Luo wasn't afraid at all.

He had prepared extensively for this battle.

He had consumed all the items and faith power given by Zhong Tianyue in one go.

The aliens, having just resolved one human Divine Realm and preparing to move to the next target, didn't take the fifteen appearing starships seriously.

They might fear one, but now several were cooperating, so they naturally weren't afraid of mere fifteen starships.

But before they could rejoice, they saw Xu Luo's Zerg begin to log in, using their Divine Realms as battlefields, engaging in multi-front warfare.

Xu Luo didn't participate in commanding, instead staying in the center, letting the Butterfly Generals direct the battle.

Worker Bees flew about, gathering various intelligence on the enemy's important resource points and troop deployments, while Earth Dragon Zerg took the front as the main force, backed by Butterfly Fairies.

Their abilities were indispensable in such large-scale warfare.

As for the three Butterfly Queens, as high-end combat power, they remained hidden for now.

The aliens were all from Mercury civilizations, but their units were diverse. It was evident they weren't doing well; although they had some Silver-tier units, the numbers were few and the quality poor.

When facing the Earth Dragon Zerg's attacks, they were decimated like dry twigs, suffering massive casualties.

In the chaos, no one noticed some palm-sized creatures silently approaching the enemy units and firmly attaching to them.

As units fell one by one, no one paid attention to these corpses, naturally missing the shriveled Face Huggers.

After successful parasitism and egg-laying, the Face Huggers died.

But after a while, the parasitized creature corpses began to swell, with something seemingly writhing under the skin surface.

The next moment, the entire body of the creature exploded.

Countless blood-red small creatures poured out, frantically gnawing at everything around them.

Whether it was the flesh of creatures, trees, or mud.

They ate everything they saw.

After feeding, their bodies began to swell, constantly improving their own genes through the species they ate.

Xu Luo's avatar on the starship directly controlled the ships, remotely transmitting evolution points from the Creeps to these strange Zerg.

He didn't know what to call these little ones produced by Face Huggers, but their characteristics were very similar to certain creatures in some films from his original world, so he tentatively called them Xenomorphs!

Initially, the Xenomorphs were very weak, possibly below Bronze tier or at Bronze Tier 1. But their growth rate was astonishingly fast, especially after Xu Luo prepared a large number of evolution points for them, greatly accelerating this process.

The fully formed Xenomorphs took on various forms, reaching Silver Tier 1 in strength. Originally, Xu Luo's unit numbers weren't too high, but now they had suddenly increased significantly.

Led by the Earth Dragon Zerg, they frantically encircled the Divine Realms of the Mercury aliens.

The battle began swiftly and ended just as quickly.

Before the aliens could react, everything was almost over.

The Zerg rushed about, swiftly and decisively destroying two Divine Realm cores.

The alien Gods who had just descended their avatars were stunned.

How could it be so fast?

Their units were still fighting Xu Luo's main force, but unexpectedly, they were backdoored by small creatures like Worker Bees.

With their Divine Realm cores destroyed, the disintegration of their realms was inevitable. No matter how unwilling, the moment the Divine Realm core shattered, the realm's master was expelled from God's Domain.

"Don't destroy my Divine Realm, don't destroy it, I'm willing to surrender!" Seeing several Divine Realms destroyed in succession, the last remaining alien hurriedly spoke up to communicate.

Gods could naturally communicate with each other; most of the time, they simply chose not to.
