Shuttling Between the Two Worlds

Chapter 76: Frontline [6]

Right after Lugh is brought into the medical room, they were shocked to see his injuries getting healed at a very fast rate. In the first place, just his [Resilience] alone is an overpowered trait as one can activate the multiplier just by being injured.

On the other hand, his various resistances protected him, thus he's not that injured. Still, his worst injuries are already healed now, so he didn't even need to go to the medical cabin.

In the end, they only laid him down a bed so that he can heal. After 2 hours, he finally woke up with his injuries fully healed.

"I lost.. The gap between the Law Realm and the Demigod Realm is too big."

To be honest, he could've actually fought back in a better way, but he chose not to. Exposing his trump cards isn't something that he would do on a sparring match. After thinking of this, he simulated their fight in his mind, but with him going full out. The conclusion that he arrived to is that he's able to injure him, but he couldn't do so severely.

Escaping is the only thing that he could do when he encounters a Demigod. Well, that is, if he doesn't decide to self-destruct and revive later.

"Right, I should properly check my Master's farewell gift."

When his Master gave him the bracelet, he told him that it was all for his training. Enduring and persevering for 50 years allowed him to have that gift.

'I saw the functions, but I haven't seen it in actual yet.'

Just like a kid opening a gift, he went for the projected place first. He used his Mental Power to enter the place. There, he saw a huge library, which is very similar to his Master's study.

"Wait, this is Master's study!"

Recalling the 'projected space' part, he finally knew why is it here. His Master had projected his entire study for Lugh to study!

"With 400M EXP, I only learned around less than 50% of the contents below Deity-Realm there. Master is very considerate of me.."

It is important to know that techniques wasn't the only thing present in that study. Various knowledge about Panacea Making, zergs, other races, and more are present. There's even the technological knowledge that was very advanced when compared to Aquamarine.

Of course, Lugh mostly learned the knowledge about various races and Panaceas. He learned some knowledge regarding Mechanics as well, such as building high-level technological stuff.

Not only that, he also have a higher variety of techniques as well. Still his main ones were his Master's techniques and the first few Law Rank techniques that he learned, the <Seven Star Dragon Technique> and the <Sword Torrent>.

Lugh reviewed the books in there and he found out that it's the exact same place. The book placement is similar to the one from his memories.

Suddenly, he saw 3 glowing light orbs in the center of the place. As the bookshelves are made in a circular shape, the view felt very mystical. Knowing that its the same as those knowledge orbs, he touched them.

In an instant, the introduction along with a bit of information about the technique flowed into his mind. "Complexity" couldn't describe this technique alone. As he is now, he felt that he wouldn't even able to comprehend 0.001% of it.

That is, if he didn't have the panel.

[Comprehending <Space-Time Mystical Sword Movement> will cost 100M EXP. Continue?]

"What the.. a technique above (God)? Master gave it to me just like that?"

Along with the basic information that flowed in his mind is his Master's message.

To translate his message, it goes like this: Don't be overconfident. Don't let your guard down. Don't hesitate on doing things.

He really sounded like a worried parent letting his son go to the school for the first time. He now felt the "Dad" vibes that his Master had accumulated when he took care of Heavenly Sovereign's children.

"A dense but reliable uncle. Looking at their viewpoint, this really seems like a novel where an overpowered dad raises kids."

To be honest, even his Master didn't expect that he would be able to learn these techniques when he's below Deity-Realm. Only when he's at Deity-Realm will he be able to try comprehending these.

After touching the remaining 2 lights, his Mental Power left the projected place.

"The next thing's the pocket dimension. Knowing him and the gifts that he gave to me, perhaps.."

As he opened a portal to the pocket dimension, he got out of the bed. After entering, he's shocked to his core. There, he saw 5 notable things. First are the items. It is almost certain that these are top-class treasures.

"High-end equipment for making Panacea, an Array Master's high-end mechanical arm, a Mechanic's base, and a high-end forging equipment. All of these are made with the highest-level materials and techniques of the Alliance. Master.."

Just the word "high-end" alone is enough to shock Lugh at his core!

Even when using it to craft Deity-Realm stuff, it is still very useful. Even when one has the money, they wouldn't be able to buy this easily. It is only thanks to his Master's tremendous influence was he able to receive it.

"You are the best, Master.."

When Lugh is finished checking his Master's farewell gifts, he went out of the medical room. There, he saw Light waiting for him.

"Everything's well?"

"Yea. That surely packed up a punch, though.."

"You only need to do more battles, then you'll be as strong."

As expected, this is his way of consoling...

He accompanied Lugh to their Team 7 Room. While doing so, they had a conversation.

"You held back, didn't you?"

"As expected, you're very sharp."

Light laughed in response.

"One wouldn't go all out in a spar, so that's very understandable."

"By the way, how long are you guys here?"

"17 years. It's not that long, but we didn't have any replacements yet."

"I see."

They soon arrived at their room. The first thing that greeted them is Maen's greeting.

"Dude, that was cool! I am talking about you, newcomer!"

"Uh-yeah."

'He's against me in the start, but he's now like this? He's very simple-minded.'

Then, each of his team member asked them both if they were well. Of course, both of them answered that they were well. Light didn't even sustain serious injuries in the first place, while Lugh has his traits to back him up.

Finally, they talked about stuff other than the Origin Slate.
