“I’m sorry, but the latest graphene CPUs are prohibited from sale,” Finn Lewis thought for a moment, but still refused. Although his factory was completed, he had the technology to produce graphene CPUs on a massive scale. However, such CPUs have not yet undergone the first generation upgrade domestically. It would probably not be available to the public until after the military has completed it.

Finn Lewis chuckled. The Pentium was now the lowest-end CPU for WT, while Xeon was the highest-end. Hanson Lee was suggesting that Finn come out with a civilian version.

“I’m afraid that’s unlikely. Even civilian versions would probably face export difficulties because of the need to maintain a certain level of military advantage with such technology,” Finn explained, believing that the powers above would likely not approve.

The definition of ‘low end’ could become fuzzy. Even a low-end CPU using graphene could outperform current silicon crystal CPUs. Finn knew that making the production method common knowledge would lead to complications. However, he could guarantee that they wouldn’t be able to manufacture it due to the proprietary additive used. Still, he didn’t want the technology leaking out.

“How about the batteries?” Hanson Lee suddenly changed the topic.

Finn was taken aback by the abrupt shift and examined Hanson Lee again. He had to admit, turning Planet Group from an ordinary company into a conglomerate affecting almost every facet of Southland Country proved Hanson’s keen business insight. Success was surely not a fluke.

“Master, Miss Kay Lee is in danger,” Olivia Thatcher’s voice suddenly boomed in Finn’s ear.

With a whoosh, Finn leapt to his feet, his face changing dramatically. Today, Kay Lee and Sarah Wood had gone out to visit his childhood hometown. Although they hadn’t been gone long, Finn didn’t mind Kay getting a glimpse of where he grew up.

Hanson Lee and Graceful Lee were taken aback by Finn’s intense reaction. But before they could recover, Finn spoke, “I’m sorry, please wait here for a moment. I have to deal with something urgently,” Finn, ignoring their reaction, bolted out of the room.

Graceful and Hanson exchanged glances. Neither knew what was going on, but Graceful’s face darkened, feeling disrespected. But Finn didn’t care about their sentiment at all. After running out of the door, he asked Olivia to get in touch with Fishy Wells to attend to the two guests. Finn then jumped in a G65 parked nearby and sped off towards the street.

His hometown was only a little over 3 kilometers away from the main road, a ten-minute drive at the most. Since there wasn’t much danger, Finn didn’t ask Lewis the elder to follow.

“What danger has come to pass?” Finn asked, his face stern.

“We detected gunshots from Miss Kay Lee’s mobile phone. I have deployed an unmanned drone, it should reach the scene in a minute. Lewis the elder is also on his way, he should arrive in about three minutes,” Olivia’s voice became serious.

Finn’s face darkened. Thank goodness it was winter, and there weren’t many cars on the road. He sped as fast as he could, swerving into a side road to catch up. As the drone neared the location, Olivia suggested, “Master, put your phone on the windshield, I’ll transmit the feed to you.”

But this feed caught Finn’s attention. Kay Lee and Sarah were being pursued by several men. However, Sarah’s fighting skills took Finn by surprise. The assaulters were five men in total, and a sniper was already identified by the drone. Getting weapons in Flame Nation wasn’t easy, but having a sniper rifle was quite impressive.

Currently, the men wanted to capture Kay and Sarah alive, so they charged in directly. The village was placid in winter. Most people were indoors playing mahjong at this time of the day. As for Kay and Sarah, they were on the outskirts of the village where there were even fewer people.

Her thumb flicked the cap off, revealing a sharp knife. As soon as the blade appeared, Sarah wrapped her arm around that of the last man’s arm, with a quick flick she drew the blade across his temple. Finn flinched at the sight.
