Superman’s Saiyan little brother

Chapter 220: Clark’s Sense of Crisis

Clark remembered that Robert once mentioned he had learned a bit of magic and considered himself a magician, but Clark always felt that what Robert practiced could hardly be called magic. At most, it was just some special tactics added to combat.

In Clark's mind, only those who could cast fireballs, smash ice blocks, control lightning, and summon meteors could be considered real magicians. Moreover, how could a magician be without a wand? Whether it was Robert, who could cast fireballs and lightning, or the Kamar-Taj magicians who could only fight close combat with magic circles, none of them had what one would call a wand. Clark did not regard them as genuine magicians...

"Hello, please come in!" Just as these thoughts flashed through Clark's mind, it seemed that the opposing side had communicated with their supreme sorcerer. A ring of fire portal opened in front of Clark, inviting him in.

"A portal? That's very much like a magician." A thought crossed Clark's mind, and without hesitation, he flew into the ring of fire portal, entering another part of Earth.

"Amazing, teleported me directly to Asia?" Clark immediately recognized his location. This portal was indeed interesting.

"Hello, Kryptonian." At that moment, a voice sounded. Ancient One did not probe Clark's consciousness with magic or psychic power because she sensed the powerful aura emanating from Clark, an aura strong enough to contend with hers!
"Is this the impact of variables?" Ancient One thought of the night when Robert's spaceship arrived. If not for Robert's arrival, Clark wouldn't have been as powerful as he is now, not even close to becoming Superman.

But Robert's arrival disrupted the entire timeline, making it impossible for the Time Stone to glimpse into the future of the time stream, and this wasn't solely due to Robert's impact.

If Robert had landed not at the Kent farm but somewhere like the Dave farm, the impact wouldn't have been so significant. The main issue was Robert affecting Clark. With the center of the universe changing, everything naturally changed...

"Hello, how should I address you?" Clark did not demean Ancient One because of her appearance but asked gently.

Clark keenly felt a pressure from this supreme sorcerer, a pressure he hadn't felt even from his battle with the Martian Manhunter!

"Indeed, there are still opponents on Earth I might not be able to defeat. It seems I was a bit too arrogant before!" A thought crossed Clark's mind. Seeing this supreme sorcerer, Clark felt more urgent, just like when he learned about Robert and Kara encountering Ganath and Lucifer.

Clark used to think he was invincible on Earth, as his power alone could overwhelm the planet. But now, he realized there were many unknown powerhouses on Earth, and he needed to become stronger to protect Earth and his loved ones!

"Just call me Ancient One." Ancient One smiled softly and said, "I already know your purpose here. The battle between your brother and the Fire Demon's high priest ultimately led to the high priest's self-destruction, causing a breach in Earth's dimension. Of course, the responsibility cannot fall on your brother's shoulders, as he was also stopping the high priest, no different from the heroes before him..."

"However, the impact of the demons on Earth, as you've seen, is nothing to you, but it's a disaster for ordinary people!"

"We, Kamar-Taj, exist to protect Earth's dimension from other dimensional intrusions, but now we're stretched thin. At this moment, more dimensional deities are eyeing Earth, looking eager, tying up me and the Scarlet Witch..."

"Dimensional deities? Are they powerful?" Clark's gaze sharpened, and he asked with furrowed brows.

"If it were on Earth or in outer space, they wouldn't stand a chance against you. But if you were to venture into their territory, or fight them outside Earth's dimension, you could only defeat the smaller dimensional lords. Against the true dimensional deities, you'd likely be no match!" Ancient One said with a serious expression.

"Of course, I'm the same. Dealing with some dimensional lords or hell lords isn't much of a problem, but those eyeing Earth's dimension aren't just one or two. So, we can only protect Earth with our formations, passively waiting for their arrival..."

"Is the situation that serious?" Clark's expression became grave. He had always been unaware that Earth, seemingly peaceful, was facing so many crises. Was this the crisis Robert mentioned that could happen at any time? It seems he truly couldn't be complacent!

"It's not too serious. Even though Earth's dimension has a new breach, it hasn't allowed powerful demons to sneak through. Everything is still within our control, especially since you now have a way to deal with demons. We can expand the dimensional formation a bit..." Seeing Clark's grave expression, Ancient One shook her head and softly said.

"But even if we mend the breach in Earth's dimension with the dimensional formation, it won't cover everything. That means demons will still be able to sneak into Earth's dimension, just not as frequently as now!"

"That's already very good. My brother and I will continue to deal with demons together!" Clark's eyes flickered as he pondered over the dimensional deities, wondering how powerful he needed to become to ensure Earth was no longer coveted by these beings.

"Okay, I've called all Kamar-Taj magicians, ready to begin at any time. I hope your plan goes smoothly!" Ancient One casually opened a ring of fire portal, smiling, "Is this location suitable? Or should we choose another?"

"It's all the same!" Clark vanished on the spot, and the portal disappeared with him.

"How blessed he is! If he hadn't come before me, I wouldn't have noticed he had become so powerful. And that variable, how powerful is he?" After Clark left, Ancient One shook her head, murmuring to herself before smiling wryly, "Never mind, these matters have nothing to do with me. After working for hundreds of years, I wonder when it will end..."

"We've reached an agreement!" On the other side, after leaving the portal, Clark immediately found his location and contacted Robert via telepathy. "So, can we take action now? I'll avoid the Missouri-Kansas border because I plan to give Peter Parker and his group some extra training..." Robert, holding a new demon curse, suddenly thought of Peter Parker and his group, thus giving a heads-up.

"Yes, I'll also avoid that area. Then, let's start!" Clark nodded, understanding Robert's intention. His hand released the eerie, bloody scent and terrifying hellish aura of the demon curse, instantly attracting a large number of demons.

Likewise, demons quickly gathered around Robert. Almost simultaneously, and even a bit faster in Robert's case, while Clark was undoubtedly more powerful, Robert had more precise means of dealing with demons...

After dealing with the first wave of approaching demons, both started to move, swiftly flying to various corners of Earth, drawing more and more demons to annihilate them.

"Roar!" In a city, as they were dealing with demons, Wade and Slade's eyes lit up because they heard the roar of demons around them, instantly invigorating them.

In Wade and Slade's eyes, these demons weren't terrifying beings but their moneybags, their bank.
