Looking at Misaka Mikoto reaction to him, Kaito can't help but roll his eyes. Why he should thank her when all she did was mock him?
[God Tongue]: "Did something happen with the task, Owner? You have been missing from the chat group for a while."
[Owner]: "Umm, The situation is escalated to something I have never expected and I need to contact Itachi and Akitsu."

Looking at Itachi's answer, Kaito quickly becomes surprised as he did not expect this kind of development. Sekirei who control the wind, there is only one of them that fit the description, which is Sekirei Number 3, Kazehana.
But why does she follows Itachi? If Kaito remembers correctly, Kazehana should not be an M.B.I lackey or subordinate, heck she was even part of Minato's harem in the original plot.

[Owner]: "Can you tell me the current situation on your side?"

Kaito did not expect that the reason why Kazehana follows him is because she is reacting to Itachi! In the original, Kazehana was one of the strongest Sekirei on the Protagonist team and she did a lot to help Minato.
And now Itachi was about to become Ashikabi of her?
To be honest, Kaito does not mind it and even feels relief.
Thinking about the possibility of Kazehana becoming Itachi Sekirei, might be a good thing for Itachi. She could give him new motivation to life (as his goal was just to be killed by his own brother) and even accompany Itachi for life. Not to mention, this is possible because the system of chat group allowed Itachi to have connection so it should be a good thing, considering the nature of the chat group to support it is member.
The only problem is Kaito wonder what happened to the plot at this point... Is it completely scrapped? Kaito is not sure, but it shouldn't affect their main plan too much.
After thinking about the cons and pros of Itachi's situation for a while, Kaito made up his mind and tell Itachi.

[Owner]: "Itachi, since you have been reacting to her, go wing her after you done your task."
[Uchiha Prodigy]: "...Wing her? Are you sure about it, Owner?"
[Owner]: "For our main plan, we need more manpower and that Sekirei particularly strong enough to make deterrence on the battlefield."
[Uchiha Prodigy]: "I... don't know, Owner."

Itachi who currently transformed himself into one of the doctors with ninjutsu and checking the document in his eyes frowned looked at the Kaito message in the chat group. Logically, he understands what Kaito means, they really need do more help to distract M.B.I attention when the main plan started very soon.
But the problem is about Itachi himself.
Based on what he understands, winging a Sekirei mean that Itachi needs to be responsible for her... which is something Itachi won't be able to do.
Itachi knows that he was about to die soon, thus it is impossible for him to be responsible. Itachi knows that if he becomes responsible for Kazehana, soon after the Sekirei itself might be against his plan to die in his brother's hand.
He also does not how to become a responsible man, After all, the last girl that liked him also ended up getting killed by him. (Uchiha Izumi *cough*)
Itachi really doesn't know what to do, he is conflicted between personal feeling and work, but then Kaito's new message Itachi saw really surprised him.

[Owner]: "Itachi, are you running away again? Like what you did with your brother?"

[Owner]: "As the owner of this group, Naturally I understand you might hesitate on this decision, considering your goal of life. But, did you know that Sekirei that wasn't winged by their destined Sekirei are not happy for their entire life and even suffer? Since you are inside Higa Izumi faction headquarters, I think you have seen a lot of his Sekirei is not happy with him at all."

Itachi who reading the message on the chat group agree with Kaito said, he has seen a lot of Sekirei seems lifeless and unhappy. Even though he does not really want to wing that Sekirei for his own reason, Itachi does not want that Sekirei life her entire life ruined because of him.
After all, the connection is truly real, it is almost as if he looked at Sasuke all over again.
It is also the reason why Itachi never attacked Sekirei of wind despite having him following him every time he running in the city.
(A/N: The Sekirei connection was not that strong in the original, but just assume the chat group system intensify the connection so it resulted in that kind of effect to Itachi.)

[Uchiha Prodigy]: "Owner, If I decide to wing that said Sekirei, how do you deal with the aftermath? I don't want her to enter my world because it is too dangerous and your world probably won't work either, considering your identity."

When Kaito said this, he really have an idea of how to accommodate Itachi Sekirei later. He know that the reward of this task was enough to upgrade the chat group, and the base world function should be unlocked for everyone. Even though he won't have a point to upgrade his privilege by doing this, Kaito does not mind if it is for the sake of his group member happiness.
On the other hand, Itachi who looked at Kaito's answer this time seems really convinced. Itachi knows that Kaito has a way to revive himself after getting killed by his own brother, and he does not mind learning how to become a responsible man as long as his goal was achieved.
Itachi knows that Kaito is a smart and responsible man, and he really could hold his promise.

After that, Itachi continues his work gathering information while making up his mind to meet the Sekirei who has chased him for days later. Meanwhile, Kaito who has checked that Itachi went offline, continues to call everyone in the chat group to ask about the situation in here.
