The Prophet Didn’t Mean to Fall in Love! [BL]

Chapter 122: Gods and Fiends [1]

Malaysia likely would’ve been a better choice for a base than Thailand. Despite being right beside Malaysia, Thailand had actually incredibly strong positive energy flowing into it for years specifically because of what happened in Malaysia.

Malaysia was never fully ruined but it got to the point where it still was and it still is a hot spot of negative energy and mana. But some people—like Yue—were actually shocked to hear that it was ruined at all. Especially because he himself cleared the dungeon in Malaysia.

“What do you mean? Malaysia isn’t ruined.” Yue suddenly spoke out when in the middle of a meeting with Elena, Huy and their trusted Allies, someone brought up Malaysia as the possible point where Hundun would strike. It was specifically brought up because it was ruined.

“… What do you mean, my lord?” Jinghua asked—she was blindfolded, as many of the followers present in the meeting had chosen to be— and turned to the sound of Yue’s confused voice.

“I cleared the Malaysian dungeon myself, there’s no way Malaysia was ruined, it was probably even less intense than London.” Yue explained.

“…Malaysia—the northern side near Thailand in particular— is on the same level as Belarus when it comes to the level of ruin. If not worse because of how recently it happened. People can’t even step foot in that area without dying.” Arseny explained, perplexed by Yue’s recollection of Malaysia.

“Just stepping in Malaysia stripped immortals of their immortality before.” As exaggerated as it sounded, the other follower who spoke up told the truth.

Now in the group there were three kinds of people. Yue, who was very confused by how his recollection could be so wrong. Followers, who were thinking that Azure Dragon must be incredibly strong if he can’t even feel the ruin of Malaysia. And finally, Elena, Huy, Viktor and their own close family members were a part of the group who also didn’t believe Malaysia was very ruined.

“I’ve been to Malaysia and I agree with Azure Dragon…” Huy murmured.

“As do I.” Elena murmured.

“Huh? Perhaps it’s because you’re gods…?” Arseny murmured, very confused.

“No…Vitya and I have also been to Malaysia…It really isn’t that bad.” Natasha added.

A lot more confusion filled the air.

Malaysia—in the eyes of someone like Yue, Lian Bai, Viktor or even Zhao Zhihao, is honestly not ruined at all.

“I believe that it is because of the four in the end. Not directly, though.” Alexander murmured, “I’ve had this theory for a while now but I think this is great proof of it… The people around the four—you three in particular— are constantly being pulled to your flow.”

“I assume it is as a result of breathing in the mixture of…whatever you guys are made of. Immense positive energy, immense magic energy, incredibly refined Chi… all of those things are affecting the people around you to the point where they are reaching a point where they approach your own levels of power…This is especially true for Vitenka. His fiancée is Azure Dragon, his mother is Black Tortoise and he’s close with Vermillion bird…This is likely also why he was constantly plagued by Vikentiy.”

“…Okay so if only we can handle Malaysia as a result of being around the four…doesn’t that completely rule it out? Because the people of Hundun wouldn’t be able to handle it?” Mai asked.

“No…We can survive in Malaysia because of our positive energy and invulnerability to mana but the opposite is true for Hundun. They had high amounts of negative energy and similar resistance against mana. Malaysia is not impossible…especially not for the higher ups like Lord Zhao.” Huy answered her.

“Hundun… How many strong people do they have left at this point?”

“At least two.” Viktor answered, “Lord Zhao, an immortal lord with centuries of knowledge and combat skills, and his son…A demonic looking creature with an incredibly powerful physical body. He was able to get the upper hand on me in Italy…”

Yue glanced over at Viktor, surprised that Viktor decided to mention it. Viktor seemed to think of that battle as the worst thing that’s ever happened to him and rarely spoke about it even to him.

“There is likely more. Plus…Hundun is not just a group of humans…” Elena explained.

“Hundun—The fiend— is likely involved in the group as well.”

“This battle is not going to be an easy one.” Yue murmured.

Everyone agreed.

“Nothing has happened yet but Hundun is gathering in Thailand. Near the Malaysian border. Probably trying to find a way to keep their forces close by without having them all die in Malaysia.” Viktor said to Yue as Yue began fully preparing himself for the battle.

Yue was kind of staring at himself in the mirror for a while.

Malaysia was his peak back then. But now he had gotten such a variety of new powers  that he had surpassed himself completely. His missing tooth, the power from the ritual in the island realm…

“What’s wrong?” Viktor asked.

“In One Year, my life has changed more drastically than ever. It’s like I can’t even recognize myself anymore.” Yue said and looked over at Viktor from the mirror’s reflection.

The gap in their heights has become smaller as of late, it was something that really added to how much Yue saw himself changing.

“You’re still Yue. In the end you’re still my Yue.” Viktor murmured and kissed Yue’s cheek and tilted his head so Yue would look at him.

He looked over Yue’s face. Yue had definitely changed. Even just from Italy until now he’d changed a lot. But everyone else changed too, because of Yue.

Viktor pressed their lips together into a kiss. He was tempted to pull back after a second when he felt a prophecy coming but he actually couldn’t see anything at all in the prophecy. It was a flash of pure white light and right as it was fading out the prophecy ended.

Yue experienced the same prophecy as a result of being connected with him but he also couldn’t understand it. It worried him though.

Yue stayed silent for a minute. He then finished securing his Hanfu, before dragging Viktor with him.

He brought him to the treasury and brought out a sword from deep inside it. Viktor scrutinized the sword for a second, it was both familiar but unfamiliar.

“It’s likely that this one will break too but… I had it made for you.” Yue’s cheeks were a little red as he presented the sword to Viktor.

Viktor was about to say thank you and kiss Yue but then he immediately recalled where he had seen the sword and reached to open it when Yue’s hand clasped down on it and forced it to stay closed. His face was bright red and that was enough of a confirmation of what was carved onto the sword for Viktor to smirk.

“What? I can’t admire the beautiful sword my fiancé bought me?” Viktor teased.

“You can look at it later. We have to go.” Yue walked past Viktor with bright red cheeks and only stopped when Viktor wrapped his arms around him.

“Thank you, Yue. I’ll use it well.”

Yue stayed silent for a second.

“…Let's get this over with so we can get married.” Yue said and smiled before walking off.
