The sword god turned into a blind fox girl

Chapter 6: Kwat Vahice (bonus chapter)

Thank you to @SpookeyTEK for proofread, also wtf, me and my PR is reading out into the top 10 novel in here, good god there is alot of a smut, like.... ungodly amount

"Who are you?" The question intrigued her and for the first time, she opened her mouth, her voice carrying a sense of distance.

"... I was called by many names as I lived, but that is not important. My name is Blade, one who knows the sword." Blade sipped her tea.

"But if you simply want to know what I am, then I am just but a shell, a shell of my former self who attained a cursed wish."

"A cursed wish? Immortality perhaps?" Maeral remembered a certain folklore within his village where he came from, there once was a mortal who wished for immortality, and a god who listened gave him his wish without a thought.

This would be the mortal path to madness as he lost his friends, family, and loved ones, unable to end himself because of his weak self who obtained the power from a god's gift rather than on his own.

From then on, a saying was echoed in the village.

'Wish not for eternity as in itself is the devil's chamber'

Blade once more sipped her tea before answering.

"It is of the same nature."

"I see, then could you teach me about the language they used back then?" Maeral has a curious nature since birth and his ultimate goal was to know everything. Thus, not wanting to miss an opportunity to know a possibly lost language, he asked such a question.

Blade thought for a moment before putting her tea down.

"Very well then, I will satisfy your curiosity, granting the knowledge of a common language used by gods and mortals alike."

"Lend me your head for a moment."

Complying, Maeral extended his head as so did Blade.

'Dual Cultivation Technique: Memory Share'.

Once their head touched, a soft glow connected both of them, and a flood of information invaded Maeral's mind.

獲取知識 獲取知識 獲取知識 獲取知識 獲取知識 獲取知識 獲取知識

"Sir!?" One of the employees bursts into the room.

From his perspective, Maeral the Administrator, and a teenager are leaning their heads into each other. God knows what other possibilities are other than one.

After Blade severed the connection, Maeral realized an employee had barged into the room uninterrupted.

"S-S-S-Sir?!" In disbelief at what he just saw, the image of the steadfast, serious, and mature Maeral was shattered.

"What do you want? Ugh." The flood of knowledge still bears a heavy burden on him as he tries to process the new info.

"Th-The manager Kwat is demanding to meet the girl y-y-you brought in!"

"Just tell her to wait then" Maeral clutched his head as the strain made it harder to think.

"But Sir! She's enraged!"

*BOOM* A figure bursts behind the employee, making him fly forward as he hits the ground.

A robust cat-kin revealed herself.

"You!" Her bloodshot eyes went directly to Blade who returned to sipping tea.

"Hold on Kwat, let me talk to her for a moment," Maeral said.

A sigh escaped from Blade's mouth.

"Young elf, do you have a flat ground for combat?" Blade looked at Maeral.

"...We do, it was especially made for situations like this." Maeral looked at the bloodshot Kwat before leaning towards Blade's ear.

"Just.. don't hurt her too badly, she's a good kid, I just raised her a little wrongly" Maeral whispered before turning back to Kwat who was impatient.

"Kwat, take her to the practice ground. Don't make a mess at my office." Maeral sighed and sat back down.

~~

Two figures stood on flat ground: one was robust to the point of bursting, while the other was a beautiful fox-kin who appeared to be a young adult. Her most notable features were the black blindfold covering her eyes and her well-endowed, yet proportionate body, each part harmoniously complementing the others, embodying the golden ratio.

"Another person managed to piss The Cat Demon off?" A man looked towards the practice ground.

"Well if you have eyes, someone did indeed. Talking about that someone, she's pretty gorgeous, huh? A pity." His buddy responded.

"A pity indeed. If only she came to me, I'd give her the best time of her life in bed rather than being beaten up by some macho woman."

"Dude, she looked barely 19."

"She's an animal kin, a fox-kin at that. They barely looked older than 30 when they reach 80 years old."

"Right. Judging from her looks, she's about 19 but maybe she's 30 already. When we're old, she would still look hot and breedable."

"See what I'm saying? fox-kin supremacy!"

"Fox-kin supremacy!"

"Ahem" Maeral, who just entered to observe the battle regretted coming here already.

Looking at the practice ground, both Blade and Kwat were 50 meters apart facing each other.

A referee came into view, standing between the two.

"A duel, between the challenger Kwat Vahice, and the challenged Blade will commence. If there is any objection, please voice them out."

Blade, absorbed within her world, summoned one of her many swords within the soul.

A small purple rift appeared beside her as a handle pushed itself outside of the rift. Drawing the sword, it revealed itself.

A katana with a blackguard and a purple ornament hanging from the guard. the blade has a fractured appearance, yet some mysterious force is keeping them in place. A purple glow can be seen coming from the cracks.

This sword, forged from the carapace of a universe-devouring worm, could create wormholes to travel and tear fabrics of reality with its fang.

It's a 'one-of-a-kind' blade she obtained after the gruesome battle between the Universe-devouring worms and her.

Seeing the blade, Kwat brushed it off as a cheap magic trick, thinking that calling a sword from a rift may seems cool, but it won't do much in combat.

However, Maeral, as an elf who was sensitive to magic, felt an astronomical amount of magic power coming from the cracks of the blade.

But rather than emitting those magic powers, it kept devouring the mana around it as if it were mana-depleted.

'Gaia only knows how that sword hasn't become a black hole yet...' Cold sweat started to appear on Maeral's face.

'I beg of you to have mercy upon my daughter.' Maeral prayed silently.

After some silence, the referee acknowledged there would be no objection and continued.

"This duel will commence, all participants, the match will start once this coin touches the ground" The referee threw the coin up into the air and ran out of the practice ground, knowing it would soon become hell.

The world became slow as the coin slowly fell.

*Clink* The sound of the coin falling marked the beginning of the battle.

"Heads! I win, haha!" A certain young man with black hair and emerald eyes cheered, as the person beside him hesitantly gave him a pouch full of silver coins.

"Physical enhancement!" Mana covered Kwat's body before it was absorbed by her muscles.

Applying a buff on herself, Kwat was about to commence her attack but Blade intervened.

"You are holding back. Don't be, it will be less humiliating for you that way."

Hearing Blade's taunt? It enraged Kwat more.

"Fine, it's your graveyard! Rage, Titan's constitution, Hercules strength!-" Kwat applied more buffs and before long she was done.

A red aura surrounded her, then she dashed towards Blade without a warning, reaching her instantly.

Kwat threw a fist towards Blade's fist but her sword suddenly appeared on the way.

The force behind the fist sent Blade back into the edge of the arena.

'Hercules's strength? To think such a weak spell would be named after that mighty mortal. A humiliating spell. Even he himself would hunt down whoever named such a spell after his might.'

Looking down at her hand, Blade saw her own hand was shaking by the impact, reminding her that her body was the body of an untrained fox-kin.

'Yin-Yang Technique: Ever-Balancing Body'

After using the technique, the shaking finally stopped as Blade turned her attention to Kwat.

"Give up! A blind girl like you will never be able to fight!" Kwat thought she was stronger than this, but by a simple strike she was sent to the edge of the arena. Feeling bad, she wanted to force the blind girl to give up.

But instead of answering, the blind fox girl walked to her, acting as if the last blow didn't happen.

'Fine. If you want it that way, I'll throw you out of the arena.' Kwat charged to Blade once more.

'Time and Space Sword Technique: Single Slash' In the blink of an eye, Blade appeared behind Kwat.

"Huh?" Kwat's vision suddenly turned upside down.

'Is that.. my body?' Blade made eye contact with her eyes, the loose blindfold revealed red eyes behind those blinds.

The sudden feeling of freefall overcame her before the feeling of bleeding came from her neck.

"Gasp!?" Rising from the ground, she frantically touched her body.

'I-I'm alive?!' She turned her attention to Blade who was lowering her katana.

From an outside perspective, Blade suddenly appeared behind Kwat, and she collapsed.

'W-What happened...'
