The Villains I Taught Became Heroes

Chapter 100

“Well? I heard the King of Rights broke through the dimensional wall and pulled a monster from another dimension before. So, thinking about that, it might not be impossible, right? After all, such things typically happen in both directions.”

I’m not exactly a wizard with profound knowledge about magic, so I can’t really argue.

But I don’t think it’s impossible.

As Lena said, the Asura sect attempted to summon an Asura from another dimension.

“So, how about we research something like that after everything’s done? There should be plenty of documents from the Asura sect or the Magic Empire about dimension magic.”

The Asura sect has already been wiped out, and all their documents ended up with the church.

And as for the Magic Empire’s documents… well, I’m sure I can manage to ask the Emperor for help.

“…That sounds good.”

Sowol, who was listening from the side, smiled brightly and subtly glanced at me.

What’s with that gaze? It’s terrifying.

“Why are you looking at me like that?”

“Why not?”

“No, it just feels like you might eat me.”

“You saw well.”

Oh boy, that’s scary.

I shrugged and took a step back.

Arisha, who had clung to me, whispered in my ear.

“Teacher~! I’m tired, can you carry me?”

“Don’t even think about asking for permission when you’re already being carried.”

She was holding onto me with both arms and legs, and she still wants permission?

I gave a light bounce and properly hoisted her up, then looked around at the other students. It seemed the battle had gotten a bit rough, as there were some injuries.

“Everyone did a great job. But it’s not over yet, so keep your wits about you.”

“Understood!”

“Do you remember the artifacts I gave you before? Are you using them well?”

I had distributed all the artifacts I had collected to the students who had finished Chapter 3 without me.

From now on, it was time to properly use those artifacts.

The students seemed tense, realizing that the enemies in the first battle were no ordinary foes, and started pulling out their artifacts.

“Alright, let’s move on.”

Since we were now using the artifacts seriously, the battles themselves weren’t impossibly difficult.

At first, there was a bit of stumbling, but since I knew the strategies well, finding weaknesses wasn’t that tough.

However, the thing that bothered me was the looks on Sowol, Lena, and Arisha’s faces.

“Why are you all staring at me like that?”

“You’re so cool~!”

“I think you’re cool too.”

“Y, you’ve always been c-cool, Master.”

“…Well, now that you realize it, I guess that’s good.”

“But, Master.”

“Huh?”

“Don’t you think you’re overdoing it?”

“Me? What do you mean?”

“Well, how can I put it… Even when we caught the Asura sect, and even now, it seems like you fight as if you have nothing to lose.”

“Oh.”

“And those artifacts you gave us… You clearly found the perfect ones for us!”

“Complaining after receiving something good, huh?”

“Yeah! Yeah! You know the enemies’ weaknesses too well! It’s like you knew from the start!”

“…So, is that a complaint?”

“No, how could I complain? I just feel like you’re sacrificing too much.”

Sowol, with a bright smile, lightly hugged my arm.

Then she looked up at me earnestly and said,

“I’ve looked into it, Master. It seems like you’ve earned quite a lot.”

“Well, that’s true.”

“But then, you sold all that property. You provided us with artifacts with it.”

That wasn’t wrong.

I needed to boost the specs of Class A for the final battle.

To do that, I needed to prepare class materials or something like artifacts.

Anyway, since I’ll disappear from this world if we reach the true ending, what do I need with money?

So, I neatly handled all the assets I had gathered, both movable and immovable, and used that money to get the artifacts for the kids.

“It sounds like you’re about to take off.”

“Oh come on, listen to this! If you think I don’t love my students deeply, then what even is that?”

“Isn’t that right?! Teacher always thinks about us~!”

“Yeah. You’re the only one who understands my feelings.”

“Yeah! So I hope you can understand my feelings too!”

“That’s a bit…”

“U-uhm. Then, M-Master.”

“What?”

“C-could you please put a bit of your b-bl-blood in here?”

There was excitement in Lena’s eyes.

Does this girl like blood?

But there’s no reason to refuse, so I drew my finger across my sword and let a few drops land in the vial.

Lena’s face brightened as she received a few drops of blood.

Is this okay? Arisha and Sowol smiled as they stepped back from Lena, who was receiving her blood.

How dull.

“Okay, okay. If everyone’s rested, let’s get moving.”

There were still enemies left.

I led the others deeper into the canyon, where we discovered a building.

“Is that it?”

“Yeah. That’s the main base of the Magic Empire’s army.”

“How do you know that?”

“Can’t you tell just by looking? And look.”

From the building, people cloaked in black robes began flooding out.

As they slowly took off their robes, a short gasp went through the students.

They were Chimeras.

These monsters, which are hard to deal with even one, now numbered ten.

“Looks like they’re starting to sweat.”

“Then that means we need to get inside that building, Instructor.”

“Why?”

“We’ll handle this outside, so you go in.”

Ludwig confidently twirled his sword.

Looking around, everyone was nodding.

Do they want us to go inside and finish it off, me, Sowol, Lena, and Arisha?

“Stop trying to show off. It’s not like there’s a time limit; I’m taking them all down with me.”

I gave Ludwig a little shove on the back and moved forward, with the students following behind me.

Dealing with the Magic Empire’s powerful weapon, the Chimera, was tough indeed.

As a result, many students fell into incapacity.

“Leave us here.”

“Please watch our backs…”

I couldn’t take the exhausted ones with me inside.

After leaving about half of the students resting outside, we entered the building.

Once inside, more enemies sprang out like a tidal wave.

“Why are there so many?!”

One by one, students began falling into incapacity.

With the cheers of students urging them to leave us behind, we continued forward.

Eventually, we arrived at the innermost part of the building.

“I didn’t expect we’d make it this far.”

A low voice came from a man sitting in a chair, who slowly rose.

“…M-Master.”

I nodded at Lena’s trembling voice. I could tell what she was looking at.

Half of the man’s torso was covered in some strange machinery.

“Is that strange?”

“Does that even look normal?”

“What seems unusual?”

He stepped forward, raising a mechanical arm.

“It’s only natural to sacrifice for something precious.”

His calm, scanning gaze landed on Sowol.

“Saint of the Sword. What can you give up to fulfill your wish?”

“…..”

“Colorless Crown. What can you sacrifice to obtain something valuable? Princess of the kingdom. What about you? And…”

“Sacrifice, what nonsense.”

I scoffed at his words, spinning my sword and pointing it at him.

“I’m too greedy for anything like sacrifice.”

“Another from a different dimension.”

“Uh, no?! I’m from this world?!”

Ignoring the sharp glares stabbing into my back, I shrugged.

What’s with the bosses like the Shadow of Asura and this guy? Why does everyone poke at weaknesses?

“Are you going to sit back and let this fool talk nonsense? Guys! Attack!!”

The hesitant students sprang into action.

As if expecting this, he activated the machines around him.

As a result, pale gas-like entities and stationary armor began to move.

“That’s… the Wraith?!”

“It’s Raidric…!!”

The device that captures human souls and turns them into Wraiths and the device controlling the empty shells of the dead knights, Raidric, began to activate, causing enemies to pour out.

But this was already an expected attack.

“Sowol!!”

“Yes!!”

The darkness created by Sowol and me devoured the surroundings.

At the same time, the sweeping sword energy of moonlight attacked the Wraiths and Raidric, followed by Lena’s exquisite magic.

“This is ridiculous!”

“You’re the ridiculous one, you liar!!”

With Arisha charging in, I threw a punch.

Since he was using a device that nullifies magic, my magic won’t work on him.

In that case, physical force will do.

As I and Arisha’s successive strikes began to push him back, he stumbled but didn’t seem to take serious damage. His gaze remained sharp.

“A liar, you say? Hahaha. Who looks at whom?!”

I’ll have to rip that mouth open first.

I swiftly unleashed a Moonlight Slash and jumped in.

As Arisha supported me with her Arang Technique, Ludwig’s sword stabbed into his side.

Clang!!

The sword plunged into the mechanical part.

Could it be because it contained sword energy? Unknown sparks flew as the strange metal was scratched.

“Another from a different dimension. Would you like to cooperate with me?”

He waved his hand, sending a powerful energy our way, grinning.

Is he trying to say the same nonsense again? I shrugged.

“I’m going to ignore any nonsense about rejecting half the world and sending me back to the original world.”

“…Then I have no choice.”

He leaped into the massive device, slowly opening his eyes and revealing his teeth.

“We can only wage a final battle.”

You should have done that from the start.

I smiled and gripped my sword, with Sowol calmly standing beside me.

“Master.”

“What?”

“After all the fighting is over, don’t we… have something to talk about?”

“Y-yeah. It feels like we need to have a serious conversation.”

“Yeah! Yeah! Teacher, when it’s over, you must stay put and not run away!”

“Do you really not believe me? Do you really think I’m going to run away just because of this other dimension nonsense?”

I spoke earnestly to my adorable students, and they beamed brightly at me.

“Of course we do!”
