After Takahiro-kun accepted my offer to make his lunch, I have to stop by the market to buy some ingredients to make his bento.

Arriving at the market, I grab a basket to put the ingredients in.

"Let's see, hmm... Broccoli and carrots are good proteins, I heard that men lose a lot of energy when they do that...... no, I shouldn't think about that here."

I shake my head to get my thoughts out of my head and continue buying the ingredients.

Arriving home, I change my clothes and start preparing the ingredients for the bento.

I start preparing the ingredients for tomorrow morning, I cut the vegetables and prepare the chicken to make teriyaki, and I pack them and store them in the fridge for tomorrow.

After preparing everything, I put on my nightwear and go to bed.

I talk a little with Takahiro-kun about Lime, I love this moment where even though we're far away, I can talk to him.

 After talking on the phone for almost two hours, I say goodbye to Takahiro-kun and then go to sleep.

I turn off my alarm and get up. I woke up a little earlier than usual so I could make Takahiro-kun's lunch. I want to do everything right for him so he can praise me.

I know Takahiro-kun is a kind person. He wouldn't complain even if the food was bad.

I finish getting ready and go down to the kitchen to start making the bentos.

I grab the ingredients from the fridge and the cupboard.

First, I beat the eggs in a bowl with the soy sauce, sugar, and salt.

I heat a small frying pan, lightly greased with oil.

I pour a thin layer of the egg mixture into the pan. When it starts to cook, I roll the omelette in on itself, starting on one side.

I pour some more of the mixture into the pan, lift the rolled omelette, and let the egg flow down it. I roll it up again.

I repeat this until all the mixture is gone. Once I have done this, I cut the omelet into small pieces.

"Now I'm going to make the teriyaki chicken."

I heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the chicken strips and cook until golden brown.

I add the teriyaki sauce and cook until the chicken is well coated and the sauce thickens. I let it cool while I prepare the vegetables.

I cook the broccoli florets in boiling salted water for 3 minutes, drain and let it cool.

I mix the rice vinegar, sugar and salt in a bowl, add the pickled carrot strips and let them marinate for 15 minutes.

Now all that's left is to assemble the bento.

I start with a portion of rice in one of the compartments of the bento box, and shape the rice into balls (onigiri).

 I put the tamagoyaki and teriyaki chicken in separate compartments next to the rice.

I added the broccoli florets and pickled carrots, and lastly, I added the fresh fruit to one of the compartments, keeping it separate from the other food.

"Okay, everything's ready, just need to add one more thing."

After finishing our bentos, I pack them up and head to school, I'm getting anxious about what he's going to say about the bento.

I hurry to get to school.

After arriving at school and waiting for the first period classes to end, which seemed like an eternity to me, it's finally lunch time. I grab my things and hurry to Takahiro-kun's class.

"Huh!? Akani-chan, wait."

I hear my friends calling me, but I'm in too much of a hurry to talk to them right now.

 I need to get to his classroom quickly, I don't want to waste a single second, I want to stay with him as long as possible.

Arriving at his classroom, I see him putting away his materials and fidgeting with his fingers, looking anxious.

(Could it be the bento I promised him?)

Ahh... I'm so happy he feels this way about me.

I enter the classroom and go straight to his seat.

"Good morning Takahiro-kun, are you ready for lunch?"

Takahiro-kun is surprised when I suddenly call him, what a cute reaction, but then he starts talking a little nervously.

"Ah!! Hikaru-san g-good morning, y-yes, I'm ready."

"Hehe, then let's go."

I grabbed Takahiro-kun's hand, which made him let out a "Huh?" in surprise, and pulled him out of the classroom, I'm excited to see his face when he opens the bento, fufu.

Since Yuuki won't be able to have lunch with me today, I'll have to have lunch with some of my classmates.

While I was going out to buy a drink, I saw a very familiar person.

"Huh? That one looks like Yuuki and... the other person is a girl."

I accidentally bump into someone, which makes me lose my focus. I apologize and turn my gaze back to the same direction I had seen the person, but the person who looks like him is no longer there.

"Did I mistake him for someone else?"

With that in mind, I make my way to a drink machine.
