Truth Of The Forgotten Age

"So if you divide by X, you'll get 147.5. Any questions?" The teacher wrote on the chalkboard.

"Yeah! We're supposed to be adventurers, or even soldiers. So why are we learning math? It seems pretty useless." A student responded with quite the hard-headed question.

"How much does your weapon and armor cost? Food? How about the amount of enemies currently attacking you, and the amount nearby? How much money would you make from seven different quests? Etc... Math has a use other than random numbers on a board." The teacher gave a smart-ass response.

Soon enough, the bell rang to signify the end of class.

"We'll continue this tomorrow. Don't forget students, the first-year tournament is coming up soon. So train up to get the attention of some very skilled upperclassmen."

As everyone filed out if the class, Cassidy yawned, steeping out of the room and walked towards the cafeteria.

"I told you that you should go to sleep earlier." Veronica scolded.

"But I wanted to play with your new body!"

"I didn't get that much of a change though. At least, compared to others the last upgrade."

"Ver, you're gonna be getting bigger tits. You're gonna get taller, a bigger dick, you are going to be made of sex. I want to have fun with you at every stage."

"I-I see... I'm not very happy about that..."

"Ver, you'll be able to have sex with all the women you want and never have to think about a future again."

"That sounds... corrupt. And bad. Like, genuinely manipulative."

"Hey, I wouldn't complain if I were your plaything."

"Cass!"

"I'm joking, I'm joking."

To other nearby, they may have been a tad bit confusing by the two girls conversation. Luckily, it stopped before reaching the cafeteria. After getting their tray of actually decent food, the two sat down, and were eventually greet by the remaining two members of the team.

"Hello Veronica, Cassidy." Eleanora greeted first.

"Heya." Aviris said.

"Hey girls." Cass gave another yawn.

"Should've gone to sleep when Ver told you to." Aviris also slightly scolded Cassidy.

"But she's so hot. And cute. She's a good mix of both, really."

"Speaking of which, so far, I'm the only one who hasn't done anything to help, except for the one kiss." Eleanora complained, as if she were jealous.

"Hear that, Ver? The princess wants some action~" Cassidy teased.

"B-But... if anything gets out, my head is quite literally on the line!"

"I'll make sure that doesn't happen. After all, it wouldn't be the first time a member of my family had sexual interactions outside of nobility." Eleanora gave a slight explanation.

"I... what? I'm not gonna question that..."

"So, when do we get to... you know... do it?" The princess blushed, softening her voice.

"W-We can figure that out later, when we get into the dorm. F-For now, we should worry about classes."

And to classes they went. Boring, normal classes. Normal history, normal sciences, and normal physical education.

Just a few more hours, and then they're done. Exercising, mathematics, science, history, they're all important.

Cassidy was somewhat lacking in physical education, constantly slowing down, nearly falling over in simple tiredness. She really needed the sleep.

And so, Veronica and Cassidy got lucky, as their teacher allowed them to go back to their dorm. Namely, Veronica was allowed to escort Cassidy back to the dorm, and make sure that Cassidy actually slept.

In their dorm, straight to Cassidy's room, Veronica sat next to the bed as Cassidy tried to take a nap.

"You are so lucky that she allowed us to go back to the dorms early."

"I know, I know. Since we're here~"

"No. You need sleep."

"Do you know how hard it is to sleep? Especially in the day?"

"Just close your eyes. I'll figure something out."

"Fine..."

Cassidy closed her eyes, to try her hardest to sleep.

'Now, what can I do to make her actually sleep...?'

"Well, you do have a spell to do just that."

'Yeah, I do. I guess I could try it. But it would feel... wrong?'

"You could either use the spell, or just hope she goes to sleep naturally."

'Hm... fine, I guess I'll use it. If I knew how.'

"You should know. It's actually pretty simple."

'Simple? How?'

"Just do what I tell you."

Veronica sighed as she began to follow Lilith's instructions. First, Veronica held her hand above Cassidy's head and focused. Draw out the warmth from inside. And gently expel it from the core to the tips of her fingers.

A soft purple glow made it's way around Cassidy. She went from breathing as if she were awake, to her gentle soft snores of slumber.

'I suppose sleeping with an erotic dream is better than not sleeping at all. By the way... how long does this spell last?'

"Anywhere between an hour and a few days."

'Huh? Are you saying that she might not wake up until multiple days pass!? Why didn't you tell me before!?'

"Calm down. She'll be fine. You specifically choose how long. And you can also lift it at any point and wake her normally."

'Okay... that's... that's definitely better. I guess three hours should be ebo8gh for her to gather energy, and still be able to sleep tonight.'

Just in case, Veronica stated in the room for a while. Studying Cassidy's slumber. For a while, it was normal. Until Cassidy's face slowly turned red, as if she were embarrassed. Then came a slight, and very soft moan.

'Dreaming. I'll go ahead and take my leave now.'

Veronica stood up and left, trying to ignore the stiffness growing down under. Something that she'll take care of later.
