Unheard Wishes: A Tale Of Desires

Help Who?

"You don't deserve something like that," Rias gently caressed Adam's face with a smile which soon turned into a stern look, "That is why if you let it happen, I will not forgive you."

"Rias…" Adam muttered as Rias's smile returned to her lips as he continued, "You too …deserve someone better than me." she couldn't help but shake her head since she knew that he was serious at this moment, and she knew the reason why he was thinking that way.

That is why she thought of a way to get his real thoughts out, and also make sure that he never says it again.

'I don't want to imagine myself with anyone else aside from you,' Rias looked at Adam with a small frown, 'So, shouldn't do that as well.'

"So, let's suppose that this man who is better than you shows up ...Would you let him take me away?" Rias asked knowing his reaction perfectly.

"No fucking way!! I'll kill him!!! I won't let you go!! No matter what, I am not letting it happen!!" Adam wouldn't allow it, and that is what she wanted to hear, but more importantly, he needed to hear it himself.

'I shouldn't try to act cool if I end up saying such words just a little after,' But Adam didn't mind it, because he was serious, no matter what he would never let Rias go.

"I'll hold you to those words~," Rias smiled as she stood on her toes and kissed his lips before continuing, "Don't you ever let go of me Adam~."

"I won't, and sorry that I came back on such a note," Adam sighed but there was no helping it. And he was glad that he came here, and talked to her about it before doing anything more.

"No, it is fine. I am happy that you cared ...so much about my feelings on the matter," Rias wrapped her arms around his neck, and looked into his eyes with a gentle smile, "And I'd be more pissed if you suddenly came back with a woman that is already pregnant." And suddenly that smile wasn't that gentle anymore.

It seemed more like a threat to him but…

"I'll keep it in mind," Adam smiled even in this situation, he was happy that it worked out this time, Rias was really understanding of this, and he didn't have to do anything for her to agree.

So if she had such a problem then he would surely keep it in mind, But this was just the start of his problems…

'This is what you want Adam, you need to suck it up and deal with it,' Now he would have to do this several times to convince others, and he knew that it won't be that easy for a few of them.

That is why he felt lucky because Rias understood him, and accepted it even after what he asked of her.

'It might be because she is a Devil, and her society allows these kinds of relationships, so it is understandable,' It just made sense to Adam, but even if he knew about it there was still that chance that it wouldn't work because, 'Rias didn't want to be treated like a normal Aristocratic Devil after all.' And that was where his thoughts stemmed from, which caused him to be so worried over this matter.

"What are you thinking?" Rias asked curiously since he looked so absorbed in his thoughts.

'He wouldn't be thinking about another woman when he has me in his arms, would he?' Rias was curious but also anxious; she wouldn't mind him having other lovers but, 'Just focus on me when you are with me, that is all I ask of you.' Her selfishness showed itself, but no one could blame her for that since that was the least he could do.

And there was no need for Rias to worry about this because he was just thinking about her, and…

"I was just thinking about how lucky I am to have you," Adam said tightening his arms around her waist.

"Fufu, you are already starting to butter me up for your big Harem plan, eh?" Rias said with a big smile on her lips, there was no doubt that she liked his words since they made her feel special.

And she wasn't asking for much, just these sweet words and the way he hugged her were enough.

"I am just saying what I think, even with what I do I never thought that I would be able to meet someone like you and … get this far," Adam shook his head, these words were from his heart, he couldn't even count how many times he doubted whether his dream would come true.

But it did, "If I am not lucky then I don't know what it is," Adam smiled slowly cupping Rias's face.

"What happened, Rias?" Adam had to ask that question because…

"Adam about your job…" Rias spoke in a serious tone, the previous light mood was nowhere to be found anywhere, which is why Adam also paid more attention.

"Yes, is something …to matter?" Adam was half worried since it could be that Rias didn't like what he did, and currently, he had no way to get out of it, thanks to himself.

So, basically it was a problem with no real solution, and this can mess things up.

But as always he was thinking of the wrong thing, and what Rias wanted to talk about was something else.

"Adam, there is someone who needs your help, would it be alright with you if I call her right now?" Rias was unsure of this herself, not because she doubted Adam's capabilities.

But...

'Should I really be doing this? I mean….' Rias has been in a pinch because of this, but there was no way she could ignore those words.

'Would you please talk to Adam-sama about it? I know it is unbecoming of me to ask something like this of Ojou-sama but…' The face of the person in question came to her mind and there were no more stray thoughts.

"No, I'll call her at this instant... So, please help her," Rias had made up her mind, this was no need to worry.

That day was the first time she had seen that woman make that kind of face.

If someone else saw her that day they wouldn't even believe it, anyone who knew her wouldn't be able to believe what they were seeing. After all, that desperate and defeated expression didn't suit the face of the Strongest Queen of the Underworld.

And in a few minutes, Grayfia was already at Kuoh Academy thanks to Rias contacting her and requesting her to appear right this instant.

'Wait…. What?' Adam was still shocked, he was happy that Rias accepted his previous words, but this sudden turn of events was a little too much even for his wishful thinking.

'Did she just call Grayfia here for that?' Adam couldn't understand what was going on in Rias's head, and currently, he didn't think he would be able to figure that out.

"…" Grayfia was the same, she didn't expect that she would end up meeting Adam when Rias called for her so suddenly.

'I… didn't think she called me here regarding what we talked about a few days back,' Grayfia knew that something like that wasn't possible but even then, 'But what if…?'

"Grayfia tell him about the contract you want," Rias cut straight into the topic, she wasn't going to waste any time today.

"Ojou-sama…" Grayfia didn't expect that, she stared at Rias with wide eyes as her face was dyed with disbelief.

'I indeed spoke to her but…' Grayfia thought back on the day she spoke to Rias, but if told that it would end up like this.

She wouldn't even consider it to be true.

But it was happening, all thanks to her words that day…

***

Half an hour after Adam left…

It was late at night and she was told by her king, Sirzechs to call Rias home because Lord Gremory wanted to talk to her about something.

And as usual, she visited Rias's normal residence first but she wasn't there, this made her use her magic to locate where she was at that moment.

'Akeno's house,' Grayfia went there post haste not finding it shocking that the two were together, as the two were very close.

But as soon the door to Akeno's house opened she found something shocking, it was so shocking that she found herself rooted to the place like a stiff statue, almost like she saw a ghost.

Which wasn't wrong because the person standing in front of her was supposed to be dead.

And as Rias and Akeno came down hearing her arrival, she could only ask…

"O-Ojou-Sama …..this?"
