The next morning Ruvan woke up early while a lazy Lira was still sleeping soundly on him.

"Pah"

"Let's wake up sleepyhead" Ruvan joked as he slapped Lira's bare bottom. Seeing those muscular and bouncy buttocks made Ruvan's little brother stand up unconsciously.

"Mmm, five more minutes," A lazy Lira murmured as she turned her head.

"I am in your care, I say, Ling'er and I are in your care" Su Meiyao said as she bowed politely to Ruvan.

Ruvan froze upon seeing Su Meiyao's smile but quickly recovered and replied with a kind smile.

"I'm wondering the same. From now on you are part of the family" Ruvan said with a smile.

"Welcome Miss Su" "Welcome to the family Miss Su" The maids also smiled as they welcomed Su Meiyao. Some of them were wives of Ruvan's mercenaries while others were quite grateful to Ruvan for asking for mercy for their lives.

When the noble family they served was discovered in a conspiracy that planned to annihilate the royal family they were quickly captured and executed.
