With Tony;

Tony had to say what Killian had going on here was truly something amazing, that didn't change the fact that his was insane and probably planning something evil.

"So how did you end up working for Killian anyway?" Tony asked Maya as she tested out the newly improved extremis.

"I don't work for Killian. I work with him, we're both working under the Mandarin." Maya's response caused Tony to raise a brow as he remembered the information he had discovered.

Tony parted his lips to confirm whether Maya was lying to him or truly that clueless when Pepper's image popped in his head.

"Where's Pepper? I did exactly what you asked so where is she?" Tony asked with his impatience made clear for all to see.

Maya finally looked away from what she was working on and looked Tony in the eye, without a single word being exchanged Tony could tell what had happened.

He had been tricked; Tony felt complicated about the whole situation on the one hand he was pissed off but on the other hand he was filled to the brim with joy, this meant Pepper had gotten away safely.

Tony began using his God given talent which was hated by everyone he had met; talking.

"so I'm wondering what drove you to join terrorist. Don't tell me it's probably one of the three reasons huh"

"I joined them because if you! and your wrong this isn't a terrorist organization the work we are doing it's going to save unlike you and your friends who go around playing God."

"Playing God huh, to be honest I don't really remember anyone of us claiming to be god except Thor. Well he is actually is a god so that doesn't count really."

With her being distracted by his words he began typing away on a PC close to him before grabbing a Bluetooth device an putting it in his ears.In just a few minutes though she started to ignore his words causing him to reveal the truth.

"Look you can't trust Killian. Whatever he's told you is an absolute lie"

"And you can be trusted? I woke up and you were gone, I told you my dreams and all you did was leave behind a sheet of paper." saying so she showed him said sheet which held an equation.

"You don't even remember do you?"

"Look I'm a d*ck that's an established fact, so I'm sorry but this isn't you. Killian shares no such dreams, men like him only care about power and when's all said and done he's not going to save the world he's going to destroy it."

"This whole Mandarin thing is not going away. You don't build up something like that and don't use it"

"You're lying, Killian didn't build anything up the Mandarin is granting us protection and that's it. It's a deal"

"Wait you think the Mandarin is real?"as those words were spoken Killian had arrived at their location.

"my, my, my what's going on here?" Killian spoke in a smug tone and Tony couldn't help but think to himself how Killian truly had a punchable face.

Maya deciding to ignore Tony's words began to show the newly improved formula which had fixed the previous faults. A wide grin was formed on Killian's face hearing this.

He turned to Tony who was still looking at him with a dirty look.

Giving his men a look they moved to escort Tony away as Killian took a closer look at everything himself. Maya who watched Tony being escorted away couldn't hold herself back anymore and asked the question.

"Killian"

"Hm yeah what is it"

"How are we going to get rid of the Mandarin?"

"The Mandarin... don't worry I will deal with him when the time comes." Killian dismissed her with a few words before continuing to look at the extremis formula with bright eyes.

The words Maya had spoken to Pepper rung in her head soon followed by Tony's question. Taking one last look at Killian she finally accepted the truth.

Grabbing one of the vials containing the flawed extremis she injected the entire thing into Killian causing him to push her away. Before she was sent flying though she managed to grab the freshly produced extremis that was made with the new formula Tony had provided.

"What the hell?!" Killian screamed looking at her with his eyes narrowed with his body starting to give off a faint orange glow.

Before he could let out an attack though he looked to his hand with widened eyes. "Noo! Maya!"

"You lied to me and I should have never helped you"

"Give it to me!" Killian exclaimed as he reached out to grab the improved extremis from her but she managed to move out the way.

As she tried to rush towards Tony a bang was heard. Tony managed to turn around just in time to see Maya fall face first with a puddle of her blood forming under her.

Killian picking up the improved extremis injected himself immediately and let out a sigh of relief as he felt it take effect.

"What a shame... but it was bound to happen" Killian spoke in a calm tone as he looked down at her body. "Sorry you had to see that Tony but I have things to do so see you later" with those words he signalled his men to continue.

Tony who was being dragged away heard a voice, a familiar one at that in his ears. "I will be there in a few minutes sir"

A smirk which confused the men escorting him to his cell formed on Tony's face.
