I got up to see Buchou was sitting next to my bad.

 

Akeno, Kiba, Koneko and Issei were all standing around my bed. They all looked relived.

 

I smiled and said, “Hello Everyone, we won right? So why the long face?”.

 

Rias said, “Akira, you know you overused your demonic powers? You were out for 2 hours. We were really worried”.

 

“Yeah man , you were out cold”, said Issei. KIba, Koneko and Akeno nodded.

 

I scratched my head sheepishly and said, “Yeah my bad. Sorry for making you guys worried”.

 

Asia then came in front of me teared eyed but with a determined face and said, “Akira-san please don’t ever do that again”.

 

“Yes, Asia is correct”, said Rias.

 

“I’ll try”, I said with a weak smile.

 

“Man that power was so great. Buchou said that it was almost ‘Ultimate Class’ level”, said issei trying to change the subject.

 

Almost ‘Ultimate Class’ huh? That’s good to hear.

 

“Is that so?”, I said.

 

“Yes, it was. But ‘Balance Breaker’ Akira, how did you achieve it?”, asked Buchou. Everyone was looked at me in anticipation of my answer.

 

I told them about borrowing power from Issei and the whole process, including the drawback, as I need to find a solution immediately.

 

Everyone listened and Rias said, “Still wasn’t the risk too great? Why did you do it?”.

 

“I didn’t know it would be like this. If I did I wouldn’t have. But anyway it’s not a bad thing per se. I can enjoy life normally. It’s just my combat efficiency is reduced. I just need to find a way to master ‘Balance Breaker’ ten it will be solved. Yeah, it wasn’t all that bad, I mean we won”, I said.

 

Well I just need to train a lot more I guess, then I can be stronger so that the reduced power doesn’t effect me. Achieving full control over “Balance Breaker” in such a short time is impossible after all.

 

Well, there is also the method in the anime but no way am I going to suggest that myself. I don’t even know if it work on me anyway.

 

Rias was making a sad face.

 

Then Issei said, “You were so cool, we won thanks to you. I couldn’t do anything”.

 

I immediately said, “Don’t say that. It was team effort. Everyone contributed. Everyone worked together to weaken Rise before I entered the battle. Everyone contributed especially you Ise. Thanks to you I was able to achieve ‘Balance Breaker’ and defeat Riser. You helped us to win the match. I should be thanking you” and smiled.

 

“I-I see”, said Issei looking embarrassed.

 

“That’s true”, said Akeno and everyone nodded.

 

Buchou and Akeno said that they will research about Dragon’s aura so I will leave it to them to find a solution.

 

After resting for a while we decided to return back to the human world. We decided to eat at a restaurant to celebrate our win. I had the perfect place in mind so I said that I will choose the restaurant and everyone.

 

Meanwhile Grayfia came to the infirmary to tell us that the engagement has been cancelled. Also our rating game will be shown to the whole underworld as it was “great”, whatever that means.

 

Also apparently Rias’s brother will hold a small party in the school tomorrow night to celebrate our win. It will be a small one, where excluding our group and Rias’s brother and Grayfia only the Student Council will be present as they helped with the broadcast.

 

He wanted to make it bigger as it was his sister’s first victory  but given the circumstances it will anger a lot of devils in the underworld hence this.

 

As we were making our way to the magic circle for teleportation Ravel suddenly appeared in our front and was glaring at me silently.

 

I sighed and asked, “What? We won fair and square. There shouldn’t be any complaints”.

 

My words were followed by silence as Ravel continued to glare without saying anything.

 

“Or are you angry at the fact that I didn’t fight you and had you trapped in the game? I only did that because you said you were a non-combatant. Well anyway if you want to fight one on one I am ready anytime”, I said and glared at her.

 

She flinched and moved aside letting us go.

 

We went past her. Then we teleported to the human world.

 

I took us to a restaurant. We ordered breakfast and then I suggested, “You guys have to try the ‘fried chicken’ here, that’s the reason I suggested this place. It’s delicious”.

 

So we ordered two buckets of “fried chicken” with our other food.

 

Issei then asked, “Why ‘fried chicken’ though suddenly?”

 

“Because we defeated one last night. Having one now is fitting”, I said with a smile.

 

Everyone understood and laughed.

 

After that I relished the juicy fried chicken a lot.

 

 

Third Person POV:

 

 

After the match between Riser Phenex and Rias Gremory ended, somewhere in a room in the underworld.

 

There were two groups of elderly devils sitting. One side had a middle aged man with Crimson hair and the other side had a man with Blond hair.

 

“So Riser lost the match huh?”, said the Blond haired man.

 

“Lord Phoenix. I’m very sorry that this engagement turned out like this. I know it’s rude but this engagement—”, said the crimson hair.

 

“You don’t have to say any more, Lord Gremory. It was a good engagement for pure Devils, but it looks like we both had too much greed. Both of us already have pure Devil grandchildren. Maybe it’s the greed as Devils that made us crave for it. Or is it because we saw hell in the last war”, said Lord Phenex.

 

“......No, I also forced my greed onto my daughter”, said Lord Gremory.

 

“His name was Suzuki-kun, correct? I wanted to thank him. What my son lacked was defeat. He overestimated the ability of our clan. This will also be a good lesson for my son. Phoenix is not absolute. Just learning that was enough for this engagement, Lord Gremory”, said Lord Phenex.

 

“Lord Phoenix......”, said Lord Gremory.

And with that the engagement ended. But the meeting left a lot of speculations in the minds of devil elders as to what the future has in store.
