"It's a shame we have to fight Shukaku, but it needs to be done."

Sato crouched down, tiny electric arcs started flashing around him.

Shukaku glared at his nephew, Matatabi needs to teach her kid better, Sato was tiny but had a lot of daring.

"You have courage, I'll give you that. But you are fighting me inside MY sealing space, how do you think that's gonna go?"

"I am the tailed beast built upon sealing jutsu, these markings on my body are natural seals. I have full control over this sealing space."

Shukaku laughed, his control over Gaara's sealed space was why Gaara could never sleep.

No other jinchuriki had such a problem, only Gaara. it was practically impossible to trap Shukaku using sealing jutsus.

"Seriously?? The tailed beast controls his sealing space. Holy hell Gaara, your village's sealing jutsu sucks."

"No wonder you couldn't sleep, if you sleep even once this guy can escape immediately."

Sato was speechless and Temari and Gaara were embarrassed.

Hidden sand was the lowest ranking great village, this incident further proved that point.

Sato chuckled a bit then looked at Shukaku seriously.

"Okay I hear you Shukaku, you control this entire space. But so what? What do you mean by telling me this?"

"Catch my attack then we can talk."

Sato vanished, he rushed towards Shukaku with his fist pulled back.

In lightning release chakra mode Sato saw the world in slow motion, this was how he noticed many black seals manifest before him.

They were like a net that stood before him and Shukaku. It was a wall made of sealing jutsu.

'This reminds me of the iron bars that trap nine tails. That's also a wall made of sealing jutsu. This one is simply more direct.'

Sato thought before punching the wall with all his strength.

A blast of energy rippled across the sealing space, Gaara and Temari were being pushed back from the gusts of wind alone.

Shukaku didn't seem to care about it but he was actually sweating, the energy behind that punch was pretty insane.

Although it didn't matter in the end, he still won.

"Hahaha, do you understand why I told you all that Sato Nii?? I control this place, which means.."

"I am not trapped with you, but you are trapped with me! You are inside the prison, I am outside."

"And I own the key to your door. Hahahaha."

Shukaku was laughing loudly, other tailed beasts were trapped in sealing prisons, meanwhile he managed to trap his host Gaara inside the prison.

When Gaara brought Sato and Temari with him, they too appeared inside the prison. Giving Shukaku an advantage.

Sato was silent, he looked around for a while before gaining an understanding look on his face. He then smiled at Shukaku with amusement.

"So that's it. That's why you could scream in Gaara's head all the time. You were never trapped to begin with."

"Great, you did something no other tailed beast could do. Now what? What's next? Brag about this to your siblings?"

"Do you think they will care, do you think anyone would care Shukau? That you tortured a good host?"

Sato shook his head, he didn't seem to mind the sealing justu cage and narrowed his eyes.

"Why you, Sato Nii, I did everything right. He is the reson I am trapped within a prison."

Shukaku exclaimed, but right at that second Sato vanished, and struck another part of the seal.

Another energy wave rippled across the space. Although this time Sato didn't stop. He immediately struck another point.

Constant attacks were hitting the seal wall every second. Spreading increasingly violent energy ripples.

This confused Shukaku for a while, before his eyes suddenly shrunk.

He noticed that the ripple energy was building up. One attack couldn't break the seal wall, but the controlled build up was putting a lot of strain on his seals.

"Wait..!"

Shukaku was starting to panic a little, his confidence came from the seal walls. Without those defenses his strength wasn't enough to beat his nephew.

Finally, a harsh tearing sound echoed across the sealing space. A human sized hole was torn open in the seal.

And Sato flashed through the hole, appearing before Shukaku's face.

"You asked me if you were wrong, no you weren't. They trapped you, you should definitely take revenge."

"But the problem is-"

BANG

Sato kicked Shukaku's head, making the monster scream in pain and crash violently onto the ground.

"The problem is, you are taking revenge on a little boy who knows nothing, instead of going after those who actually hurt you."

"You are a coward who doesn't have the ability to defeat your oppressors. You make do with torturing innocents instead."

"You need to come to your senses Shukaku, Bunpuku will be sad seeing you act like this."

Sato looked disappointed, but internally he was frantically playing with Shukaku's head, he was twisting and turning the situation to make Shukaku feel he was wrong.

Essentially Sato was gaslighting Shukaku.

'Shit he doesn't realise it yet, but he can easily trap Temari and Gaara and mess up my entire game.'

'I can't even let them die or it'll be a national level scandal. It's a good thing Shukaku is an idiot or I might be in trouble.'

Sato wiped his sweat but acted causally. Everyone could see his confidence and his disappointed look.

This look on his face truly made Shukaku stop and think. Was he wrong, will Bunpuku be disappointed in him, will sage of six paths be disappointed in him?

"...Get out of this place."

After a few more minutes Shukaku grunted, he stood up and walked away towards the darkness.

Only a small sound came from the deep darkness.

"Tell that kid to get a good night's sleep. I won't mess with him anymore."

Shukaku relented and Sato sighed with a smile on his face. Shukaku was this close to winning if he threatened Sato.

Gaslighting him saved Sato from a national level problem.

After this thorough brainwashing of Shukaku, Sato and his group to got out of the sealing space.

"Huff huff, that was intense."

Temari wiped her sweat and fell down to the ground, even if this whole incident was happening mentally, she still felt tired.

"It was, but tomorrow's attack on Konoha will be much more intense."

"Gaara, practice cooperation with Shukaku for a bit, I have a hunch we will need it tomorrow."

Sato said without actually telling Gaara the truth. It would be better if Gaara personally finds out that this attack was a scam.

This way Sato will have Gaara's support and will get Gaara's help against whatever Kabuto was going to do.

Sato hoped to stay away from Konoha crush, but with hidden sand, hidden leaf and Orochimaru's men into the mix, he might have to jump in even if he doesn't want to.
