A burst of notifications flooded into Gray’s vision as the array of Ki-blasts hurtled down at the approaching androids. Gray shot down, his fist slamming into the face of the closest Funf and sending him spinning down into the floor below.

His hand snapped into the shape of a Ki-gun, firing through the chest of the next Funf as he blitzed toward him, then seamlessly shifted into a Ki-coated fist that hammered into the android's face.

Gray pushed back in the air as the next Funf reached him, dodging the punch and then slamming a two-fisted hammer into the top of his head.

Gray’s head snapped back, letting a purple Ki blast sail inches from his face. He simultaneously fired a blast of his own at the approaching Kohl, but the man dodged easily as he reached Gray. Gray’s top half blurred as he dodged the slower man's fists, and then his leg lashed out in a roundhouse kick that sent Kohl reeling away.

He spun around, his palm slamming into the face of another Funf as he shoved him back down into the forest below. He swiped his hand backward, a Ki-blade forming as he cut clean through two purple Ki-blasts beaming at him. His Ki-blade stayed as he swiped down, cutting into the arm of a Funf charging from below. Sparks flew as the sword slashed into the Funf’s arm, but it stayed attached as the Android slammed a fist into Gray’s chest.

Gray grunted, slamming his fist into the Funf’s face as he shook off the blow and flung the android back.

These guys are sturdier than the other ones.

 

Gray swung up his arm, blocking a punch from Kohl and his head dipped down to duck under another purple Ki blast. He was forced to push backward again as Kohl’s fists blurred at him while Prufen launched another string of Ki blasts. Gray opened his mouth, sending a mouth beam into Kohl as his hand shot up and caught the fist of a Funf aimed at his face. Kohl brought his arms up, blocking the beam from making direct contact.

Gray grunted as the Funf’s punch made his arm rattle. He gripped the android's fist, controlling his entire body as he swung him in a circle and sent him flying at Kohl. The man swiped his hand sideways, sending the Funf careening away before it slammed into him.

Gray ducked as a Funf’s fist soared over him from behind, his leg lashing out as he tilted his head to dodge another purple blast. He kicked off the Funf behind him, shooting forward past another one as he raced at Kohl.

The Funf’s are annoying, but they can’t even touch me. I just need to take down these two.

 

Kohl tilted his head as Gray’s fist flew past him, then his eyes widened as Gray abruptly swung his fist sideways, slamming into the side of the man's head.

The attack didn’t do much as Gray’s fist had no momentum, but it surprised the man enough to allow his next attack to connect. Gray’s other hand swung upwards, uppercutting into Kohl’s gut with a Ki-enhanced fist that sent spit flying from the man's mouth.

Gray’s hands shot up, his hands clamping together into a Ki-coated two-handed hammer that dented Kohl’s hunched-over back and sent the man hurtling to the ground below.

Gray grimaced as a fist slammed into his back, his attention too focused on trying to take down Kohl quickly. One Funf’s fist slammed into his mid-back, and then a purple Ki blast slammed into his cheek a split second later.

Gray spun around, a Ki-ball forming in his hand. His hand shot forward, his palm slamming into the Funf’s face. The ball exploded, covering the android’s face in smoke as Gray kept his grip on him.

Gray yanked his arm forward, dragging the Funf’s head to him as his knee shot up into his stomach.

The Funf didn’t even react to his knee, his fist flying forward at Gray and connecting with the side of his arm as it held the Funf in place.

Gray grimaced as the huge fist slammed into his arm, his bones rattling from the impact, then growled as he swung the Funf downward by his face, sending him down to the floor. He leaned back, letting a purple Ki blast sail over his head, and then spun around with his arms raised, blocking a punch from Kohl. He had no time to retaliate, as he had to shoot backward as a Funf swiped a large open hand at his head.

 

“Just hold him down, Funfs!” Prufen ordered, and Gray barely dodged a Funf that came lunging at him. 

 

“Yes, Captain!” A roar came out.

 

Focusing on both Kohl and the previous Funf had given the others a chance to finally reach him, and there was a stream of Funf’s shooting up from the ground. Gray slammed his fist forward, launching back one of the Funf’s, and then swung his elbow around to connect with a Funf coming from behind.

He grunted as one of the androids from below reached him, wrapping his arms around Gray’s legs. Gray ripped his leg upwards, planting his foot on the Funf’s face as he sent him flying back down.

Gray had no time to recover as another Funf took his place, lunging forward and wrapping him in a bear hug. Gray grunted, pushing his palms into the chest of the Funf as he threw him back, but the Funf only sailed a few feet before it slammed into the front of another android.

The Funf continued forward, ignoring his identical android as he slammed into Gray, wrapping his arms around him. Gray hissed as he lifted his hands to shove them off again, but was justled forward as another Funf slammed into his from behind, wrapping his arms around Gray. A third came from below, grabbing Gray’s legs. As Gray was held in place, the flood of androids came streaming in, dogpiling around him until he wasn’t even visible anymore. 

 

“Good! Keep him there!” Gray heard Prufen shout, his words muffled as his world was filled with muscles and skin while he was contained in the floating ball of androids. He clenched his fist, lashing out with all his limbs as he tried to force the Funf’s away.

 

“FUCKIN’ ROBOTS!” Gray screamed, pissed off as he was held in place, his muscles bulging as he tried to break free. He gritted his teeth, willing his Ki to do something as he forced it out like a flood breaking through a damn.

Gray screamed as his Ki burst out around him, a giant yellow ball forming as it slammed into the surrounding mass of Funf’s and sent them hurtling in every direction.

Gray didn’t have time to admire his new technique, as he flung himself to the side as a huge purple beam tore through the air he was just floating in. He shot upwards, rising far above the tree line as his breathing became ragged.

 

There’s just too many of these android fuckers. 

 

Gray clenched his fist as glared down, the mass of androids already recovering as they started flying back at him again. He spread his hands out wide, two Ki balls forming.

 

Fuck it. I wanted to save my Ki in case Dorro got up, but I’ll be exhausted at this rate. I’ll finish these guys off and get the fuck outta here.

 

An array of Ki balls formed at his side, spreading wider and wider as Gray clenched his teeth, forcing his Ki to keep expanding. He slammed his arms down, sending the tens of Ki balls behind him blitzing down at the army of Funf’s.

Gray raised his hands, more balls forming around him as the Funf’s barely stalled out for a second, continuing upwards in a mindless charge.

Gray shot upwards in the air, creating more space between the rising muscular androids as he raised his hands. He idly flicked his right hand, countering a purple Ki blast with one of his own as his left hand rose. An army of Ki balls formed around him again. His hand flicked down, sending the volley into the rising androids.

“Funf’s stop!” Kohl yelled, shooting upwards as his hands blurred, shooting a flurry of Ki blasts at Gray. Gray swiped his hands, deflecting the blasts as they reached him, “Wait for an opportunity!”

 

Kohl shot forward but grimaced as Gray’s finger flicked into a Ki-gun, raining bullets down at him. Kohl dashed through the air, dodging the raining Ki-bullets as he tried to get closer, but to no avail, as one ripped through his shoulder.

“Fuck! Group up, Funf’s!” Kohl ordered, and the Funf’s changed trajectory as they started flying toward him instead of Gray, “Make me a shield!”

 

Gray grinned, watching as the Funf’s formed into what could only be described as a human(Android?)-shield, all of them flying upwards in a condensed group with Kohl hiding behind them.

 

Your just gonna group up nice and easy for me?

 

Gray cupped his hands, leaning down as a black ball of Ki started to flicker into existence in between his palms. He turned his head to the side, his mouth opening as he launched a mouth beam to intercept another trio of purple Ki blasts flying at him from the side, courtesy of Prufen.

 

“Ignore his attacks! Just keep going up!” Kohl ordered as the group of androids shot up at Gray.

 

“Try ignoring this!” Gray yelled, the black orb pulling in the light around it. Wind swirled around Gray, electricity dancing in his hands from the power. The orb formed fully -  a pitch-black ball. He thrust his hands forward, and the beam of black Ki shot directly into the crowd of Funf’s.

 

“[Kokuyo]! (Black Night!)”

 

The black beam sailed down, slamming into the front two Funf’s and shoving them back down. It continued on its path, sending the first two tumbling into the three behind them, who slammed into the three behind them. The pattern continued, destroying the group as they were sent careening into each other as the large beam consumed them. The beam tore through the group, the Ki burning through entire bodies and tearing off limbs.

Gray huffed, sweat dripping down his brow as he watched the group of men be slammed into the ground below, a huge crater forming from the impact. His Ki plummeted from the attack, dipping just below 30% from the combination of Ki-volleys and the Kokuyo. He swiped his hand up, deflecting another purple Ki blast as it spun upwards at him.

 

“You’re… starting to piss me off,” Gray grunted in between breaths, turning to Prufen as the purple alien was the sole remaining enemy floating in the sky. He raised his hand, forming the shape of his Ki-gun as he glared at the alien.

 

“Just fuckin’ die,” Gray flicked his hand, a flurry of Ki-bullets streaming at the purple alien. The alien dodged the first one, his focus solely on avoiding the fast-moving projectiles, and was caught unaware as Gray blitzed forward.

 

“GUK-” Prufen spat out as Gray’s hand lashed out, grabbing the alien by the throat as his other fist slammed into his gut.

The alien hunched over on Gray’s fist, spit and blood flying from his mouth. Gray pulled his arm back, bringing up his hand into a finger-gun form as the alien was stunned from the blow. He pressed his finger into the top of his long round head, firing a single bullet.

“There’s one,” Gray grinned, dropping the corpse down into the forest below as the Funfs started rising out again. Gray shot backward, flying into the sky again as he held up his hands, a ball of Ki forming in each one. Around him formed another volley of Ki balls.

 

About a third of my Ki left. That should be more than enough.

 

The crowd of Funfs started to shoot upwards at Gray again, looking much worse than before. They were covered in burns and bruises, and some were missing entire limbs. Kohl was noticeably not with the group.

 

Gray’s right hand swiped down, sending the volley down into the crowd of androids.

Gray’s hands rose again, swinging his arms up and down as he sent volley after volley of Ki blasts into the rising army of Funfs that slowly approached him.

 

Giving these guys no Ki or speed was a pretty big design flaw. I guess Cooler’s engineers can’t hold up to the Red Ribbon Army.

 

The army of Ki balls continued raining down, the explosions lighting up the sky like a fireworks show as the Funfs mindlessly charged upwards, dying in droves as they struggled to reach Gray. They were beaten and injured, flying even slower than before as they floated upward.

The lower-health Funfs died before they reached him from the rain of Ki blasts, and Gray shot forward as the rest grew closer. He slammed his fist into the closest one, the one-armed android’s head crumpling under the blow.

They’re actual androids and not robots like the other ones, but they seem to be even dumber. Without someone ordering them around, they just fly at me mindlessly.

Gray quickly realized that nothing good could come from that, blitzing forward and widely slamming his fists into the remaining Funfs as he tried to deal with them as quickly as possible. He slammed his fist into the stomach of the first one, easily dodging the responding large fist that flew at him, and then slammed his fist again into the Funf’s cheek, sending his flying downwards.

The second one swerved to the side, dodging enough of the blasts to survive as he continued forward, but was met with two Ki-bullets ripping through his skull.

Gray leaned to the side as the next Funf’s fist brushed past him, his hand flying up as it gripped the Funf by his face. He dragged him closer, his hand blurring as it repeatedly slammed into his stomach, the final one ripping cleanly through and coming out the other side.

Gray shot forward, his fist launching forward as it slammed into the final Funf’s arm, tearing it clean off. He spun his body to the side as the Funf’s other arm lashed out, then slammed his fist into the back of his head, sending the final Funf’s corpse down into the forest below.

Gray sighed as he watched the final corpse fall into the forest below, “I know they were all slow and stupid as hell, but still, losing a 20v1? Embarrassing.”

 

No time to waste.

 

Gray turned his attention away from the corpse as he shot forward, leaving the numerous Funf corpses in the forest below as he blasted toward Dorro and Kohl’s energy signal. As he shot closer, he heard Kohl’s voice.

 

“L-Lieutenant! I’m serious!” The man yelled, and Gray saw him floating a few feet above Dorro, the smaller man shouting down to the giant, “We need your help! He’s too much for us!”

 

Kohl’s condition was far from top-tier, as he was covered in burns and had blood dripping down his face and shoulders. His body armor was shattered and cracked in multiple places, being destroyed even with the Funfs tanking the majority of the Kokuyo.

 

Gray clenched his teeth, ignoring his body’s protest as he paused at the edge of the clearing, raising his hand into a gun shape.

 

This isn’t the time to be prideful, damn body.

 

Gray fired a Ki-bullet at Kohl from behind, the man none the wiser as the bullet sped toward him. However, he was saved as Dorro’s huge hand shot up, the giant lying on his back with lidded eyes as he lazily swiped the bullet away.

 

“Huh?” Kohl said stupidly, spinning around.

 

“So obnoxious…” Dorro sighed, the giant man placing his palms on the ground as he pushed himself into a sitting position.

 

“We can take him together, Dorro!” Kohl shouted, glaring over at Gray, “He can’t take bo-”

 

“Shut up,” A low growl came from Dorro, his hand shooting to the side with surprising speed and slapping Kohl into a nearby tree, his body flying with enough force to knock over the tree and multiple ones behind it.

 

“Go back to base, or die, or go jerk off in a corner for all I care,” Dorro grumbled, lumbering to his feet as he stared at Gray, “I don’t want your help. You’re annoying. So annoying. So annoying.”

 

Gray tensed his body as he watched the giant man carefully, ignoring Kohl as the man wisely shot into the sky after he crawled out from the tree pile.

 

I’m low on Ki, but he seems pretty slow. I can run.

 

His body protested his action, but he ignored it as he shot upwards, but was forced to stop a second later. A massive object flashed in front of him, flying through the spot his body would’ve been in a second later as a whirlwind of air slammed into him. Gray glanced down, seeing Dorro looking at him with a raised eyebrow as he casually held one of the fallen massive trees in his hand.

 

“Leaving? I made the trip allllllllll the way over here, and you’re gonna leave?” Dorro said with a sigh, his face drooping, “I have to stop you… I really don’t wanna… but Dore’s gonna be mad if I don’t…”

 

Without a moment of warning, Dorro’s huge fingers flicked, sending another massive tree hurtling at Gray. Gray grunted as he flung himself to the side, barely dodging as the tree blitzed through the air, barely being visible for a second as it shot through the air and disappeared over the horizon.

 

He’s slow, but he’s strong as fuck. He’s throwing these huge trees that fast?

 

“Aren’t you Saiyans supposed to be all prideful and shit?” Dorro asked as he stared up at Gray.

 

“Yeah, but I’m tired from fighting all those robots, alright? Come back another day,” Gray said as he shot up again, blitzing upwards from the forest as he tried to get away from the giant, but was stopped again.

 

Dorro flung his hand to the side, his massive arm slamming into three trees at once as they were torn from the ground and launched at Gray with incredible speed. Gray grunted as he barely dodged them again, having no time to recover as Dorro’s hands blurred, the forest turning into empty plains as he ripped trees from the ground and chucked them upwards in one fluid motion. Gray narrowed his eyes as he zipped from side to side, the huge projectiles tearing through the air around him.

 

“Just get over here, man. This is so annoying,” Dorro groaned, his eyes lidded as he casually deforested the entire forest, “I’ll even give you a free hit.”

 

A free hit, you say?

 

“Fine, fine,” A grin slipped onto Gray’s face as he yelled down to Dorro, the giant stopped his throwing as he stood still.

 

“Don’t take back what you said though, alright?” Gray grinned, staring down at the giant, “Just stand still and take a hit.”

 

“Hurry up,” Dorro sighed, looking unimpressed. Gray dumped his remaining 100 points into replenishing his Ki, 50 in INT and 50 in Ki. Then, he cupped his hands at his side, a black ball flickering into existence. 

 

“Oh? That looks strong…” Dorro hummed, watching as the pitch-black Ki orb formed between Gray’s hands, “Maybe I should be worried… maybe…”

 

Gray’s fingers stiffened, forcing all his remaining Ki into the building Kokuyo.

 

One shot. I’ll put everything into this attack, and tear through his defense in one go.

 

The air around him started to swirl, being sucked into the orb. The sky, which was barely being lit up by the rising sun, turned back to night as the light around Gray was pulled into the ball. A spark of electricity shot off the ball, dancing around Gray as a white aura of Ki shot up around him.

 

One hit.

 

“Dead men can’t worry, Dorro,” Gray grunted with a grin, his hands aching as the black ball of Ki tried to escape from his hands, desperate to shoot outwards in an attack of pure destruction. Gray ignored the feeling, funneling more Ki into it. His body started to sag, all his energy being forced into the one attack. 

 

“Wow…” Dorro muttered, his eyes lidded eyes widening slightly as he stared at the whirlwind of power forming around Gray.

 

“This might actually… hurt…”
