NOVEL SIMPLE Chapter 82: Gacha Prying Eyes
Mary looked like she was about to say something, but I put up my hand. "I know what you are going to say, but it is pointless. I can't even use legendary items till I am at least level 200. There is no point in saving my points."
Before she could say anything, I opened my menu and selected the Material Lottery. I was pretty excited about it this time. Last time I had only got one uncommon spin, but this time I had enough for 5 epic rolls! That meant at least 4 items and up to three of each, but I decided to keep on spin.

"Are you ready for this?!" I asked, looking at Mary, who nodded, with her hands balled up like paws in front of her. She was so fricken cute that I wanted to kiss her, but I wanted to spin this gacha first before I died!

"Woah!" I said, and Mary grabbed me.
"Do you know what that crystal is from?!" She demanded, and I frowned.
"No clue, but I like how excited it has got you!" I laughed as she was pressed up against me.
Outside the door to Leon's studio, five women were watching via a spell that could see through walls. Incidentally, it can only be used by females... Coincidence? It's probably for the best.
"Look at how cute Mary is acting!" Shelli giggled, as Aria just stared in complete disbelief.
"I have never ever seen Mary act like this? Is that even the same girl? And that blue dress! I swear I thought she only owned multiple copies of the same skimpy red dress! She looks so pretty like this!" Aria exclaimed, and Danielle sighed.
"She looks like she is having a lot of fun, that is for sure," Danielle said, and Scarlet nodded.
"I hope that I can make Leon smile just as much," Scarlet declared and started to march towards the door.
Thankfully, Aria cast a sleep spell and let Scarlet have a nap she probably didn't need.
"Does Leon spend time with all of you?" Misty asked from the back of the group, and the three girls turned to her, all nodding.
"As much as he can, Leon has a lot of tasks he needs to take care of to make sure he keeps us all safe. While he might not seem like much right now, Leon is going to grow into someone who will protect them even if he doesn't mean to," Shelli said with a warm smile and then the other two nodded.
Misty listened attentively to Shelli's words, absorbing the information about Leon's responsibilities and his growth potential. She remained silent for a moment before speaking.
"I still don't understand why he trusts demons. They destroyed my home. My family started because they burned our fields!" Misty said in frustration, Lyra hid behind Shelli, but then Misty's stomach let out a loud rumble, making her blush.
"I think we should get you some food, but just know that Lyra is not bad, and neither are her children. We all are here because Leon asked us to be, so you need to follow the rules," Aria warned, letting just a bit of her power leak out, directed at Misty.
To Misty, Aria's monstrous black and red presence drowned out the entire scene around her. Misty had never felt so scared of any one person in her entire life, but this... Girl? All Misty could see were Aria's burning red and black eyes that wanted to devour her.
The spike of power lasted only a fraction of a second, but for Misty, it might as well have been an eternity. The brown-haired girl fell to the ground gasping.
"Please don't make any trouble for Leon, okay?" Aria asked, and Misty slowly nodded and the sweat rolled off her forehead.
Just as we finished celebrating, for a fraction of a second I felt like death had come for me. All the color drained from my face, and Mary sighed.
"That was just Aria. I suspect she was giving that pet of yours a lesson," Mary said, but then poked my arm, puffing out her cheeks. "I was telling you something before!"
I sighed and smacked my cheeks to bring some color back to them and turned to Mary. "Was that really Aria's full power?"
Mary laughed. "You would have shit yourself a few times over if she releases her power for a full second. What you felt was just a drop. A normal person close to her with her power released could die very easily. Her powers are strange, but that is for her to tell you."
"Now," Mary sighed. "This Celestial Crystal you got. The only way to get one of these is to kill a divine class monster. While they are strong, they are not like a person who has reached Divine rank with their class. Still, this is an amazing item. I still can't believe that it just came out of thin air."
Finally shaking off the shake of Aria, and nodded to Mary with a grin, feeling the excitement start to come back. We still had three more spins!
"Ready for the last three?" I asked, and Mary nodded, and I selected the Epic Material Lottery three more times.

"Phoenix Feather, Griffin Talon, and Manticore Hide are all quite rare and valuable materials. We can use them to create some powerful and unique items," Mary said, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "And this Arcane Essence Crystal is also a fantastic find."
I nodded, feeling a surge of satisfaction. "Looks like we hit the jackpot with this batch! Now, it is time for your dress, and then filling my belly! I am starving!"
