Refusing My God’s Advances

Chapter 83: The Tsundere Touch

With the materials in hand, Mary and I returned to the task at hand – creating the Gothic Elegance Dress for her. I loaded the STL file into the 3D printer's software, making sure to select the Elemental Supports option with Fire affinity, just as we had decided earlier.

All that was left was the materials, and now that we had good stuff, I was excited to get this dress going.  Unfortunately, I didn't have the items needed, but I had more than enough other things to make the dress.

While the Obsidian Silk Blend was recommended for enhanced texture, I had a few other choices. I could have let Mary pick, but I wanted to surprise her.

[Yes/No?]

With everything looking good I clicked yes, and my printer in the corner whirled to life. Both Mary and I turned to see my 4 triangular prism drones fly out of the back of my printer as the surface folded out.

The drones circled around for a moment, and then they swooped down to the surface. Beams of blue light shot from the point of each, and started to draw out the first lay, but at blinding speeds. I supposed they needed to move fast, considering how ridiculously small the layer height was.

Mary was enraptured by the drones and now, the small little flame supports that were rising up. I also couldn't take my eyes off it, but it was going to be a really awkward ten minutes if we just stood here.

Instead, I turned and grabbed my chair, pulled it over to the printer, and sat down on it. Mary didn't even seem to notice until I grabbed her, and pulled her into my lap.

"What are you doing?!" She demanded but didn't fight to get away, and I smiled motioning my head to the printer.

"The first time I plugged my first printer in, I couldn't take my eyes off it. I must have messed up 15 times before I got even a single print to work! The entire time, I was glued to watching the machine squeeze out the material into thin layers," I explained, ignoring Mary's question, and she settled back into my chest with her arms crossed.

We both watched in silence as the drones continued their intricate dance, creating the layers of the Gothic Elegance Dress. The flame-like Elemental Supports added a mesmerizing touch to the process, enhancing the overall magical atmosphere.

As the printing progressed, Mary's initial curiosity turned into genuine interest. Her eyes followed the intricate details of the dress, and I could feel her body relaxing against mine. It was a simple moment, yet oddly intimate, as we shared the anticipation of the final result.

The printer beeped softly, signaling the completion of the print. The drones returned to their docking stations, and the surface folded back into the 3D printer. I carefully lifted Mary off my lap, and we both approached the finished dress.

It looked a bit different, but even more stunning than the virtual preview. The Lunar Silk Fabric that had replaced the Obsidian Silk Blend gave it a softer and ethereal appearance, enhancing the elegance of the dress. The Celestial Crystal embedded in the design sparkled with a faint glow, adding a touch of magic to the overall aesthetic.

Mary reached out to touch the dress, running her fingers over the delicate lace and fabric. "It's beautiful. I never thought I'd see something like this made by a 3D printer."

I grinned, feeling a sense of accomplishment. "Well, it's not just any 3D printer. It's enchanted, and with the right materials and a touch of magic, we can create extraordinary things."

Mary looked at me with a soft expression. "Thank you, Leon. I really appreciate this."

I shrugged, trying to play it cool. "It's just a dress."

Mary blushed and looked away. "Well, it's not like I asked for it or anything. It's just... you know, it's nice, I guess."

I chuckled at her tsundere act and ruffled her hair playfully. "Glad you like it. Now, before you try this on, I would like to identify the dress."

Mary nodded, turning to me with the dress in her hand, not looking at me, and still blushing. I smiled and targeted the dress.

"What in god's name did I just create?!" I asked in a shocked tone.

"...This is better than some legendary armor I have used before. Is it really okay that I have this?" Mary asked, still staring at the Identify screen.

I gave my head a shake and grinned. "This is all yours, and I can't wait to see you in it!"

"Close your eyes, and don't move," Mary ordered me, suddenly serious, making me frown.

"Are you really going to get changed right here?" I asked, but then closed my eyes when Mary narrowed hers at me.

I waited for a moment, but then I felt Mary press into me. Then I felt the soft press of lips against mine, and I tried to wrap my arms around her but found nothing. When I opened my eyes, Mary was gone, and I looked like an idiot kissing air.
